one more example of the 'racial memory' of the hindus being historically and factually correct. it had been asserted by various anti-hindus that the story of the seven temples (what nonsense to call them pagodas, christist-imperialist style!) was just a myth.
in the same manner, pretty much everything that romila thapar has consigned to the 'myth' bin is likely to be historically and factually correct, preserved in the oral tradition.
on the other hand, the christist-imperialist myths such as the arrival of thomas (see hamsa.org for comprehensive evidence about the hoax) are complete fabrications.
