oh joy, a brown/black female ex-hindu anti-hindu POTUS!

Samuel Reddy's ghost and Christist war in Andhra

How is it "secular" to hold public rallies with a Bible in hand? Is this not a blatant infringement of the electoral code of conduct? Or will the Election commission of India look the other way - based on some technicality - such as "elections are X months away" etc?

It was interesting to see the Dalal media's attempt to negate
Samuel Reddy's christist identity - post the unfortunate helicopter incident, what with rampant stories about a "cremation" (sic)
of his mor(t)al remains.

It is still not too late, despite the 20% Christist population - for the stupid "secular" people to see the YSR Congress in its true naked ugliness - a CWG
(Christist War Group) akin to the
PWG (Peepul's War Group of naxalites, who are predominantly stealth christist anyway)

Marco Rubio: The Next Obama (from the Right)

I've been noticing how certain circles have been lionizing the recent election of Marco Rubio (R-FL) to the US senate. He seems to be the Right-wing's answer to Obama - he's young, articulate, photogenic, etc. He also claims to carry a mantle of political change, via a connection with the Tea Party movement. As a Cuban-American Latino, he offers his party tantalizing access to the large and growing hispanic voter demographic. His supporters are particularly fervent and shrill in their praise of him. The Left seem to be especially motivated against him.

My concern is that Rubio could potentially be a closet Atlanticist. As with JFK, it's obvious which sect he belongs to - yet however JFK did have a particular fondness for India. At the same time, Rubio openly professes a strong antagonism towards Islamist totalitarianism. He also wants to maintain US strength relative to China. Rubio's political ties to the Bush family don't work against India, either.

But I would particularly look towards his personal hurt from Cuba's communist oppression and its effect on his family, to perhaps think that he might feel some measure of sympathy towards Indians who face predation at the hands of communist forces in India every day. One can always hope, I suppose.

Shiv Sena demands ban on Burqa

http://m.timesofindia.com/PDATOI/articleshow/6773397.cms

The Shiv Sena has been wallowing in Marathi parochialism in the recent past.
Therefore, the demand for a ban on Black tents comes as a breath of fresh air.

Although, due to uncontrolled changes to the demographic character of large parts of the nation, and perversion of the political parlance by the "secularists" - such a demand will unfortunately have rhetorical value only - like the Calcutta Quran petition demanding a ban on the book in India, 20 odd years ago.

In addition to the enslavement of
100 million citizens of India in oppressive black tents, unsuitable to the Indian climate and the inherent health risks, there are several legitimate security concerns with the Burqa, such as concealment of identity at voting booths, law courts and being a perfect stealth mechanism for criminal and terrorist elements.

Alas, the Shiv Sena's recent pre-occupations have undermined its credibility - although this is a perfectly valid and eminently reasonable concern, shared by millions of Indians.

In the near term, the Sainiks should expect an inquisition from the "mainstream" Indian media, i.e. the print tabloid rags such as the TOIlet paper and the electronic dhimmis such as the (N)ehru (D)ynasty TV. Surely, Burqa Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesia et al will fly into apoplectic , perhaps even orgiastic rage for
suggesting such an idea!!

The Shiv Sena still has potential
to emerge as the Geert Wilders party of India. It could begin by focusing its energies on the question of the estimated 2 million (20 lakh) lawless Bangladeshi Mohammedans present illegally in the Mumbai region alone.

Indo-Pak love fest at US Open

http://m.timesofindia.com/PDATOI/articleshow/6527032.cms

"
BANGALORE: Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, tennis world’s Indo-Pak Express, stormed into the US Open men’s doubles final early on Thursday, downing Argentina’s Eduardo Schwank and Horacio Zaballos 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 in the semifinals, before scores of Indians and Pakistanis who cheered in one voice. ‘Indo-Pak’ has never sounded sweeter.

The 16th-seed combination, who played their maiden Grand Slam semifinal before an audience that included the United Nations ambassadors of India and Pakistan, Hardeep Puri and Abdullah H Haroon, will take on the top-seeded American pair of Bob and Mike Bryan in the title round late on Friday.

"I see Qureshi from Lahore and Bopanna from Bangalore combining like brothers," sports minister MS Gill told TOI. "I have one question for everyone. If Bopanna and Qureshi can play together, why cannot India and Pakistan."

Enough already with the nauseating Indo-Pak love fest.
This is the same idiot Sports minister who didn't recognize
Pullela Gopichand, only the 2nd Indian to win the All England Open Badminton championship.

Incidentally, this bozo also used to be India's Chief Election Commissioner - joined the Con-gress immediately after retirement and was rewarded for his service with a Cabinet post, i.e. the Sports Ministry.

No wonder India only participates in sporting events for "participation", not winning.
An aspiration to win would be
un-Secular, un-Nehruvian, un-Socialistic. Why, it would almost be "communal"!!!

I wish this Indo-Pak pair loses in the U.S Open, if only because I want to see a quick end to the suicidal Indo-Pak love fest, before some moron like I.K Gujral proposes a joint Indo-Pak
team for the next Cricket World Cup.
Perhaps Azharuddin & Ayesha( Sangeeta Bijliani) could be brand ambassadors for such a team!
{Or the Old Nawab of Pataudi and the other Ayesha (Sharmila Tagore). That horny old goat has been credited with fathering a long lineage of Lust, sorry "Love" Jihadis. So, perhaps the old goat is a better candidate by virtue of his Luv Jihad credentials? But, I digress...}

It would be very appropriate too, because I gather from the latest buzz about them in the Indian tabloid media that the tainted cricketer was getting ready to pronounce triple Talaq
on Ayesha and introduce yet another infidel Hindu girl to the
religion of Peace (TM)

Democracy Down the TOI-let

The TOI-let paper has suddenly started questioning Hari Prasad's motives in investigating the potential fraud in EVMs. They're claiming that he's a tool for corporate interests who want to push their own brand of voting machines. Pathetic.

Police Being Pressured from Above on Arrest of Prasad

In his recent interview, EVM-fraud researcher Hari Prasad says that the police are being pressured from above to arrest him, and in turn were pressing him to reveal the source who made the EVM available to him:

Upping the Competition

India clearly needs to have a non-Leftist news network, otherwise all reporting will be spun to suit the needs of the Congress and the Left.

But I was also thinking that BJP need to demonstrate their ability to take democracy to a higher level, by staging public debates between rival candidates, for the public to enjoy. Public debates are a hallmark of true democracies, as exemplified by many Western countries.

The Congress is afraid of public debates, because their leaders are buffoons who received their jobs by hereditary succession, like a royal family. Sonia Gandhi can hardly speak any Indian language, and when she does so, she speaks very haltingly, like the tourist she is.

BJP should conduct vibrant public debates to show the country what real democratic debate and discussion are. By doing so, they can upstage anything the sheltered inbred Congressmen might hope to do. And if the sheltered Congress Party leaders continue to opt out of such debates, then they will ensure that they are eclipsed by those who are willing to partake in real democratic exchange.

Mayawati: Muslims Thwarted Me

Well, at least Mayawati suffered a humbling. She seems to attribute her debacle to Muslim voters - and this after she went out of her way to oppose the N-Deal for them, while Mulayam took the Congress bribe-money and ran with it. Let her digest the bitter lessons of her conflated ego. Maybe she'll learn to stay on message the next time, as well as deliver development.

The Macaulayists everywhere must be rejoicing right now.

FT lays into Congress with unusual gusto

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/c8524754-29f4-11de-9d01-00144feabdc0.html

The government has squandered the boom years, left the country more vulnerable to malign global economic conditions and compromised prospects for a healthy recovery. But Manmohan Singh and his “dream team” have been given an easy ride: they have escaped blame, especially outside India. The conventional excuse is that their hands are tied by Sonia Gandhi and her Congress coterie, and by coalition politics.

This explanation just does not wash. Mr Singh has impeccable academic credentials and is by all accounts incorruptible. He deserves credit for his performance as finance minister in the 1990s – although credit should also go to Narasimha Rao, then prime minister, who took the tough decisions.

But Mr Singh has proved a hopeless decision-maker as prime minister. Sadly, he proves the rule that academics should generally be “on tap” but not “on top”.

What gives this sudden change of heart?

Arjun's Kids Sidelined

Poor Arjun Singh - he's feeling hurt and upset, because the Congress Party denied his kids a chance to run on the party ticket. Poor little crook - couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.

Barack and Kumar Go to the Whitehouse

Actor Kal Penn (New Jersey-born Kalpen Modi), who currently plays Dr Lawrence Kutner on the Fox TV series "House", but is most famous for his role in the "Harold and Kumar" comedy movies, will be taking a position in the Obama Whitehouse as public liaison officer.

Sounds like a backfill for CNN's Dr Sanjay Gupta. I'm sure advocates of pot legalization everywhere will be enthused. He's apparently taking graduate studies in international security at Stanford.

60-Minutes Interview With Bobby Jindal

Here's an interview by Morley Safer of 60 Minutes with gora-sahib. The video is embedded in the article. Does anybody believe that Brady Bunch line? I think the other kids probably just teased him over 'Piyush'. Come to think of it, I've never been crazy about that name, myself.

What a Dork

Yes, it's come down to that word, as mercilessly repeated in a column by WaPo's Howard Kurtz:

... the D-word:

"Awful. He walked out like an earnest dork and has a weird inflection, trying to sound upbeat and sunny when it's clearly not his natural [meter]. It sounds false, and he looks false.

"I don't care how much of a star Jindal is, America doesn't elect somewhat-off dorks as president."

That really sums it up. Jindal is a dork.
That's probably why he converted - because of the dork's yearning need for social acceptance.
His cringe-inducing performance on national television only brought it into focus.
Shades of American Idol's Sanjaya fused with Mr Rogers:

Not since Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis took a ride on a tank, has an aspirant to national office made himself look so lame in a single appearance.

Jindal Stumbles with Speech

The post-State-of-the-Union spin game is on, and the word from some quarters is that Jindal's performance in giving the Republican rebuttal speech was lacking. Personally, I find that the guy tends to speak overly rapidly at times, when he gets hyped up. It makes him look like a neurotic. One big faux-pas was in bringing up Katrina, which was an episode that Republicans would rather not re-live. Let's see whether his status as the GOP frontrunner undergoes a re-shuffle.

If I were the Republicans, I would have gone with an Hispanic candidate. Their raw demographic numbers are even greater than the AfAm community, and that's what wins elections.
