India needs to leverage its status as the swing state

india needs to play the US and china off against each other.

the US will remain the preferred choice because china is a ruthless imperial hegemon and is enemy #1. but a signal to the US that India has options in BRICS/UNIT is useful.

the US has more in common with India as it is more diverse (not a han empire enslaving Tibet, mongols, Uighurs etc) -- if you forget the harm done to native Americans, of course -- and many indian values of individualism, innovation, are similar to American values.

the US if under trump may be more accommodating to India, despite all the Deep State shenanigans: because he needs to fend off china.

congratulations Biden: you pushed India into china's arms, and earlier Russia too

so biden/Harris must be happy that India is signaling its intent to take on china's dhritarashtra alinganam in light of relentless deep state mischief, as in Bangladesh and in the Canada khalistani imbroglio.

why is India into crypto? strange.

is it just speculative interest from investors, or is the idea of ubiquitous digital currency already a given because of UPI?

this bit about Blockchain doesn't make sense, because I don't see that many Blockchain installations in India.

India should build up a mutually beneficial alliance with vietnam

there are several good reasons:

1. common enemy china

2. ancient cultural links. Mekong = ma ganga, and ASEAN = greater india

3. Vietnam is possibly india's biggest competitor in manufacturing, but they lack scale

4. the iron discipline of the public there is a lesson for indians

5. the way they keep their cities, and especially their waterways and lakes, clean, pristine, and plastic free is an object lesson for indians

6. India should gain naval access to the port of Haiphong, which is just across the water from china's Hainan island, where their crown jewel nuclear submarines are stationed

now i'm getting worried about India's role in AI, since the warmongerist has spoken

there's 100% correlation between what the warmongerist predicts and what DOES NOT happen.

so now I am getting worried. warmongerist claims India will lead in AI. this is obviously the kiss of death.

we just did a terrific podcast on the topic of india and AI, and now I am like, my worst nightmares will come true.

do watch our podcast at https://rajeevsrinivasan.substack.com/p/ep-139-the-future-of-artificial-intelligence, and if you are pressed for time, listen to the recursive audio podcast Google notebookLM made summarizing our YouTube video.

that is, our video podcast on AI has been turned by AI into a fine audio podcast featuring two AI hosts!

Ep. 139: The future of Artificial Intelligence: Does India have a role?

An amazing conversation with Dr M Vidyasagar, FRS, a pioneer technologist in AI, and Dr Abhishek Puri, a lead user and radiation oncologist using the tech in medicine.

Driverless Tata Nano

Just so you don't feel that Google and Tesla are having all the fun with autonomous self-driving AI vehicles, a robotics researcher in Bangalore has modified a Tata Nano to turn it into a driverless vehicle:

Perhaps Ratan Tata should take a closer look at what this fellow has done. Maybe sponsor it for a cross-country self-driving road tour. It would at least be impressive for the trade shows. But "world's cheapest driverless car" also has a nice ring to it. Made in India!

Consider that if a large number of such cheap systems were to be put into operation, they could each be transmitting back information on various situations the vehicle encounters - just like your web browser sends information back each time it crashes. That accumulating pool of information could be continually analyzed to make the vehicle's AI smarter and more robust. The cheapest system would become the most widely deployed system would become the smartest and most robust system.

Given that companies like Uber are already clamouring for driverless cars to improve their business model, one of India's homegrown Uber-rivals might benefit from looking at this robo-Nano invention. The technology could also be adapted for defense applications and even space systems, after being stress-tested in the everyday world.

Maybe if any of Modi's "smart cities" take off, they'd be the ideal place to showcase such smart self-driving vehicles, and such cities could even be designed around facilitating them.

Tryst-With-Destiny vs Tryst-With-Dynasty

Forbes has published an article by Robert Kaplan et al on the upcoming contest between Congress Party scion Rahul Gandhi and challenger Narendra Modi:

I wasn't too happy with the knee-jerk references to "Hitler", so I posted some of my own remarks in the comments section to throw a few thunderbolts at them. Please feel free to post your comments there too - but please try to keep them focused and credible. Persuasion will accomplish more than mere convulsions. There are some sober points to consider from the article too.

End of sovereignty for third world countries

I think there is a lesson in this for all third world countries, especially India.

The amount of demonization that *India* is being subjected to, in the western media - post
the infamous rape incident - is
unprecedented. Atrocious incidents like this are being deliberately mis-attributed to Hindu religion and culture - fueling neo-colonial urges among the prejudiced Atlanticists.

First, it was the Soviet Union that was balkanized, then it was
Yugoslavia's turn - followed by the secession of East Timor from Indonesia.

Now, the spotlight is being turned on India. Horrific incidents will be used to legitimize the end of Indian "sovereignty", such as it exists - through foreign intervention. We're already seeing this in the form of western funded "NGO" activism, militant proselytisation
and brainwashing of the semi-literate masses by the media collaborators.

It is not a coincidence that all founding members of the "Non aligned Movement" (sic) - Yugoslavia, Indonesia, Egypt, India - have either disintegrated or are on the verge of becoming failed states. It is futile to exult over Pakistan's status as a "failed state." We may soon give them company, in the spirit of
Indo-Pak brotherhood!

The following lines from the interview struck me as particularly significant:

French intervention will cost Mali its sovereignty

http://m.guardiannews.com/world/2013/feb/08/mali

"The question that these images really raise for us is how is it that the French troops who occupied Mali for centuries as barbaric colonisers have come back 50 years later to be greeted as liberators? Does this not leave us seriously perplexed? What is Malian independence really worth? "

This deal must not be operationalised

Panchsheel 2.0? Shimla agreement 2013?

Parse the lines and you'll notice a striking resemblance to the Lucknow pact - signed by the Dhimmi Congress in the early 20th century - wherein Hindus were enjoined, in their festivals to avoid playing music and taking out processions in the vicinity of mosques AND Moslems, in accordance with their tradition, were entitled to cow slaughter during their festivals!!!

Now, the contemporary legatees of the Dhimmi Congress of the early 20th century, under the leadership of
coconut oil Christist A.K. Antony are negotiating suicidal unilateral
ceasefire agreements with all of
the inimical neighours!

The modern day Shikhandis will insist on the incorporation of a
clause giving enemy armies to
decapitate and mutilate Indian soldiers at the border, whereas Indian soldiers (reduced to Mango Men aka "Aam Aadmi" by the soft state) would be committed to sharing sweets with the enemy on Banana Republic day!

This trend needs to be arrested
and such suicidal treaties killed
before they are born to deliver their poisonous fruit, with their concomitant disastrous consequences for the nation.

As they say in Hindi, this is
"Pootna Mausi ka Prem", i.e.
the false "affection" displayed by demoness Pootna who tried to
murder the baby Shri Krishna with her poisoned breast milk.

http://m.timesofindia.com/india/Put-behind-unfortunate-1962-war-China-to-India/articleshow/18293925.cms

"The Chinese side was "unusually warm" during the third round of talks and wanted a formal border management agreement along the more than 4,000-km-long Line of Actual Control (LAC).
NEW DELHI: China wants India to put behind the 1962 war as an "unfortunate" thing of the past and that the two countries should strengthen their military ties including formalising a border management pact under which their troops will not fire at each other.

The Chinese assessment was conveyed to the Indian defence ministry team which visited Beijing on January 14 and 15 for the third round of the annual defence dialogue between the two countries.

During the meeting with the Indian team led by defence secretary Shashikant Sharma, the Chinese side asked India to forget the 1962 war as an "unfortunate" thing of the past and said it looked forward towards better relations between the two countries, highly-placed defence sources said here today. India suffered a humiliating defeat in the 1962 war.

The Chinese side was "unusually warm" during the third round of talks and wanted a formal border management agreement along the more than 4,000-km-long Line of Actual Control (LAC).

The Chinese side, the sources said, is expected to soon send proposals in this regard which would also suggest the two sides to agree on their troops not firing at each other under any circumstances.

Beijing also wants to formalise a mechanism under which there will be no night patrolling by the troops from both sides and if they cross each others' path, they will not follow each other,
sources said."

Secular rape

Thought this merits a brief separate post.

In Nehruvian Stalinist India, "secular" rape does not constitute "rape".

Exhibit A: Molestation of female police officers belligerent anti-national Moslem rioters at Azad Maidan, Mumbai - including illegal Bangladeshi Mohammedan immigrants and their Indian Mohammedan accomplices.

Where was the outcry then?
I do not recall a single candle light vigil to protest that outrage and express solidarity with the molested police women. Is their honour not honour? Is their womanhood not womanhood?
Their molestation is not molestation when the perpetrators are a "peaceful" mob?

Mumbai police constable, Sujata Patil has been crucified in court and the psec media for articulating her indignation, in poetry against "secular" rape.
She has been forced to issue a
*written apology* to the "peaceful" mob, including desecrators of cenotaphs to fallen soldiers - now out on bail and using the "secular" judiciary
to commit figurative rape.

Even POLICEWOMEN ARE NOT IMMUNE from rape in Nehruvian Stalinist India, if the
rapists are of the "SECULAR" variety!

Exhibit B: Delhi gangrape - pervert# 6 is an adherent of a
"minority". Mohammed Afroze, or something like that. According to several accounts, Pervert# 6
lured the victim on to the bus.
Pervert# 6 started verbally harassing the victim. Pervert# 6
started the physical fight. Pervert# 6 was the first to rape the victim. The iron rod was Pervert# 6's idea - he used it in the gruesome manner that he did.

Pervert# 6 has been conveniently declared a "juvenile" by "secular" Sheila Dixit's prosecution. The Waheda
Rehman lookalike is probably one of the most vicious contemporary Stalinist Kaangress politicians. Her contempt for the "unwashed masses" knows no bounds. (There are also dark rumours of Pakistani relatives, that are hard to corroborate - or dismiss.)

In the Islamic republic of Iran, the legal age of marriage for a girl is 9 years - in accordance with Sharia law.

Therefore, an alleged age of
"17.5 years" is surely Halaal
in these matters.

In any case, if Pervert# 6 is old enough to perpetrate his perversion, then it is incontrovertibly Halaal for him to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and face the maximum penalty, including and up to capital punishment - just as the
other 5 perverts.

U.S to lift ban on women in combat

Indian toadies to emulate the Yankees? Coconut oil christist,
A.K Antony, a Leon Panetta wannabe?

After all, Indians need to unquestioningly imitate all traits, mannerisms and actions of the Americans -
regardless of their implications and consequences, right?

Possibly, Indian Gunga Dins could additionally imitate a historic American tradition, namely conscription!

And enlist the likes of Shabana Azmi, Teesta Setalvad, Nandita Das, Padma Laxmi, Suzanne "Arundhati" Roy, Nisha Susan
and her Pink Panty Brugade for
immediate deployment at the LOC.

For once, these feminists could be *fighting* Pakistanis instead of going to pubs with them in Mangalore as potential Jihad baby factories!

Secondly, their moustaches might actually repel the Pakistanis!

This is a better proposition than
having our brave soldiers decapitated and mutilated - in the futile defense of such worthy members of our chattering classes!

What could possibly go wrong?

In any case, #secular rape does not constitute #rape in the twisted world of the "secularists",
definitely not in the estimation of
the secularist Marxist feminist banshees!

December 6th greetings

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-z7cl89iz1Y&feature=youtube_gdata_player

It was a glorious day 20 years ago when the Hindu nation awakened from the dark ages and re-asserted its civilisational identity. I salute all the martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice for the liberation of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.

The endeavour they embarked upon is as yet incomplete. While the event needs to be commemorated, a worthy tribute
would be working ceaselessly until the goal is achieved. This includes the removal of any obstacles in the way such as demographic threats to the nation. Does anyone have reliable figures for the number of Bangladeshi Moslem infiltrators in India 20 years ago Vs. now, estimated yo be over 60 million?

India suspended from Olympics

http://m.thehindu.com/sport/other-sports/india-suspended-from-olympics/article4164041.ece/?secid=2780

Is this the crowning glory of the
UPA's infamous "achievements"?

But, the "seculars" will counter that we don't win much anyway and it's all about the "luxury" of participation. They will also add for good measure that since Sachin Tendulkar has been nominated to the Rajya Sabha - all sport related inquiries are redundant!

Well, now with the endemic Nehruvian rate of growth pervading everything and tolerating nothing but socialist mediocrity - Indians will not even
have the "luxury" of *participation* in the Olympics anymore.

The Kaangress will surely appoint a committee to study this debacle, send them on a taxpayer funded trip to research how other countries manage to ensure participation in the Olympics and add a bullet point to emulate them in the next "Five year plan".

Can Lallu Yadav please pull some strings with his friends at Harvard? Do I hear a Mandal commission report recommending reservations
in the Olympics? There should be a quota for socialist, secular India. After all, we have the 2nd largest Moslem population in the world. They will go unrepresented in the Olympics!

Justice for Captain Saurabh Kalia?

The most inhuman and unspeakable torture was inflicted on this martyr and his fellow soldiers for 22 days before finally being killed.

Captain Saurabh Kalia must have been only 23 years old when he made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.

Are our shameless politicians and chattering classes worthy of such sacrifices?

I'm not sure going to the International court of justice will achieve anything, if the goal is to compel Pakistan to discipline its Jihadi soldiers. Pakistan and its army are only emulating the tenets of Jihad enunciated in the Sharia law and the brutal traditions exemplified throughout the history of Jihadi expansionism in "infidel" lands.

The bestial torture of Captain Saurabh Kalia ranks with the torture of Sambhaji (son of Chattrapati Shivaji), Guru Gobind Singh, Guru Tegh Bahadur, Banda Bairagi, Prithviraj Chauhan and countless other martyrs of the heroic Hindu resistance to Jihad
over the aeons.

Pakistan needs to be punished severely for this atrocity. Dr. Kalia's inititive needs to be supported because it reminds us
of Captain Saurabh Kalia's sacrifice and re-awakens our sleeping populace to the dangers of mindless gestures of "Cricket diplomacy", Delhi-Lahore bus yatras etc.

Aakash tablet: Glorified Made in China junk

Is this Kapil Santa Claus Sibal and the UPA's idea of a "Christmas" (sic) joke?

Ho-Ho-Ho.

The so-called Aakash tablet, much touted as a Kaangressi gift to India's malnourished
Chillun (Kaangressi for children)
is as much an Indian innovation as Poodle Singh is the "Prime Minister" of India.

http://m.timesofindia.com/tech/tech-news/hardware/Aakash-2-tablet-made-in-China/articleshow/17348021.cms

NEW DELHI/BANGALORE: The much-publicised world's cheapest tablet, Aakash 2 launched by President Pranab Mukherjee on November 11, may have been a cheap import from China, embellished with some applications from IIT Bombay, and not an Indian innovation that it was made out to be....

Rest in peace, Balasaheb

A great son of Maharashtra and a great son of Maa Bharati is no more.

He bravely upheld Maharashtra's tradition of fierce patriotism and resistance to the oppression of Hindus, like a Tiger - in the lineage of Chattrapati Shivaji, Swatantra Veer V.D. Savarkar, Doctor K.B. Hedgewar and Guruji Golwalkar.

Sympathizers of the Hindu cause have lost a father figure today - one who gave them hope, courage and inspiration - with his fearless oratory.

He had many accomplishments to his credit. I will always remember his generalship in organising resistance to Jihadi pogroms in Mumbai of defenseless Hindus & for providing succour to the Kashmiri Pandit community - victims of Islamic genocide in their native land.

Couldn't the BJP have emulated him at the national level in providing reservations for ethnically cleansed Kashmiri Hindus in education? Sadly, the fate of the Kashmiri Pandits is becoming an all too familiar story - for oppressed Hindu minorities in Kerala, Assam, West Bengal and Mini Pakistans across the length and breadth of the country.

While mourning his loss, all supporters of Hindu causes
need to re-dedicate our commitment to the struggle for Hindu existence on Hindu bhoomi.
