Swami Lakshmananda

Remembering Swami Lakshmananda on the 10th anniversary of his martyrdom..
The day was Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna; a day celebrated across India.  A group of armed men had descended upon the girls school, lobbing grenades and firing machine guns into the air. The headmistress of the school was gunned down as she attempted to shield the life of her mentor, the 82 year old monk and founder of the school, Swami Lakshmananda . A visiting parent along with two junior monks were also killed as the young students fled for their lives.

Brannon Parker's investigation into the nefarious designs of Maoists and Missionaries in tribal areas:

"A true renaissance man, the late 82 year old Swami Lakshmananda taught the Tribals organic farming and proper animal care. He opened free day & night schools for children and adults. He opened free clinics and accompanied frightened Tribals fighting for their lands to court hearings and Govt offices. He turned the people from alcoholism towards productivity. However he was assassinated as he prepared to celebrate Krishna's Birthday at one of the many free schools he had built. Kandhamal exploded into violence as the Kandha people reeled under the shock and terror of the assault.

After my first investigation into the Kandhamal crisis I wrote a 450 page report entitled 'Orissa in the Crossfire-Kandhamal Burning' Read online here http://www.scribd.com/doc/34732553/OR...

I went back for a follow up investigation in 2011. What follows is Part 1 of over 13 HOURS OF INTERVIEWS, unedited and raw. These are not interviews with merely the experts alone but are first-hand accounts from the native tribal people themselves. Hear them share their direct testimony and recollections of events as they actually happened. Learn of the ongoing efforts to dis-inherent them from their lands, their cultures and in many cases their very lives.

This investigation includes a 3 hr interview with the late Justice S C Mohapatra, who headed the Commission probing the 2008 Kandhamal violence, interviews with Orissa Govt Minister and KandhaTribal Manoj Pradhan and Kandha Tribal Chief Lambodar Kanhar among other community leaders.

Odisha, Commonly known as Orissa, has a history going back thousands of years, Odisha was once an ancient maritime power that conducted trade from Rome to Japan. To this day festivals like Bali Yatra and Japan's Ulumbana Festival remain as testaments to Odisha's ancient and broad cultural influence.

Odisha is home to a majority of India's Tribal people. The Kandha people of Odisha are one of India's major tribal groups and they are centered in the Kandhamal District. This region of Kandhamal was once home to some of the most ancient Shiva and Buddhist temples and monasteries in the world. The famous Chinese Buddhist pilgrim Huen Tsang traversed the Kandhamal trail on his way to the Buddhist sites of Bihar in the year 436 AD.

Regrettably Orissa's indigenous cultures have long been the target of various vested interests. In recent times foreign funded Maoists terror groups and foreign religious groups have ravaged the social fabric of the region. Recognizing the ongoing threats to the tribal people various Hindu groups and leaders have dedicated their resources towards the upliftment of India's Tribal communities.

One such Hindu leader was Swami Lakshmananda Saraswati. He Created an Indigenous Cultural Renaissance in Orissa's Kandhamal District. He restored many ancient tribal holy places and schools. Swamiji established Radha Krishna temples throughout the region along with over 380 Kirtan groups.

Swami Lakshmananda stated in a 2008 interview. "I was attacked on January 26, 1970. I had to hide myself in a school for over three hours. Nobody came to my rescue. Then I thought that so many Hindus were there as I was attacked but no one came forward at the time of the attack. It was then that I vowed to reignite the light of conviction in the hearts of the Hindus. I established Srimad Bhagavat classes, Radha Krishna deities and opened evening prayer and choir centers. I taught the people how to farm properly, how to worship Mother Cow and how to protect the forests."

He was later assassinated as he prepared for Janmashtami celebrations in August 2008 by Maoists and Christian Terrorists at a Girl's School he founded. The day chosen for his assassination was also seen as an intentional provocation. The day was Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna; a day celebrated across India. The location of the assassination also caused great anguish to the tribes people. Orissa was stunned and the entire State went into mourning.

The World Remained Silent and instead focused on the predictable response of his enraged followers-The Kandha Tribals-the most warlike tribe in Indian history. I was able to expose the false narrative that had been developed by the media. The US State Dept revised its take on the crisis in conjunction with my report stating, 'The underlying causes that led to the violence have complex ethnic, economic, religious, and political roots related to land ownership and government-reserved employment and educational benefits.'

Quick notes: Safe haven for Maoists, Tipu road...

  • Just as the security agencies forewarned: No cooperation' from Telangana government in fight against maoists. "Before bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh had put up a strong offensive against Maoists on the Chhattisgarh-Odisha-Andhra Pradesh-Maharashtra axis.  This is now missing in the case of Telangana".

  • Miracle!: BJP passed BBMP resolution to name road after Tipu, now says 'don't know how this happened'.

  • Successive finance ministers favor China: Karnataka silk farmers giving up on trade over import duty. BJP looks the other way.

  • From those glass houses: Key posts go to Gujarat cadre, the Chindu insinuates. How many non-Iyengars in this list, though?

Six feet under...

Lying six feet under, Leftist looney senses dirt being shovelled on his coffin from above.
Sumanta Banerjee's open letter to Comrade Ganapathi, General Secretary, CPI(Maoist):

The only instance of your party’s direct assault on the Hindu fascist forces is the killing of the VHP leader Swami  Lakshmanananda Saraswati  in Kandhamal in 2008. It may be considered as a well-deserved punishment for a Hindu fascist. But your party failed to follow it up, and fight the consequences.

Instead of adopting tactics that lead to the killing of innocent civilians – and then issuing  statements “deeply regretting the loss of civilian lives,” – can you please ask your cadres to preserve their fire power, and keep dry whatever little gunpowder is still left in your armoury,  to be able to fight the agents of Hindu fascism ?

Makes you wonder what the British injected into their forefathers' buttocks?

Crypto-Christists Control Maoist Activity

The big brother attitude of the Telugus in the organisation is not confined to Odisha alone. Even in Gadchiroli in Maharashtra, which has a Maoist cadre strength of close to 1,800, about 450 of them armed, there are no local tribal commanders. The entire leadership is Telugu and the security forces are now trying to drill a divide, telling the locals that the outsiders are only exploiting them as foot-soldiers.

Nepal Maoists Do Their Handlers' Bidding

Nepal and China have sealed the deal for the $1.6 billion West Seti Hydropower Project in West Nepal. The project was earlier designed to supply electricity to India, but it will now be meeting Nepal’s own domestic requirements with the surplus being sold to China.
Several of India's projects have been stalled because of various reasons such as protests from Maoists against awarding deals to foreign companies. Projects like the Upper Karnali and Arun III have not showed any progress despite MoUs having been signed years ago. Last year, a GMR Power-led consortium’s camp site office in Dailekh district was reportedly burnt down.
Nepal is estimated to have 43,000MW hydropower generation capacity, but the actual production is a woeful 650 MW.

Dynasty vs Government

The man is right. The Dynasty does not *want* maoism to end because the kkkangress gets its votes from the maovadi-christist belt.
What's astonishing is that someone is saying this in the ELM!
I am very very scared for this man...

nepali maoist show true 'courage' - attack helpless lady

http://www.myrepublica.com/portal/index.php?action=news_details&news_id=12716
I wonder where the 'loose women who go to pubs' people are - complete with their excess under-wear. oh - I forgot - it is a hindu woman who got beaten up. hindus and women have no rights - so someone that is both hindu and women is simply irredeemable

funny you never see the 'loose women' when you need them the most - like when taslima nasreen is attacked by mohammedan goons in hyderabad.

this is actually what is in store for all hindu women when the commies and the mohammedans come to power. they are merely objects of blood lust.

Maoists Spread Their Deadly Reach

NYT reports on how Maoists are spreading their deadly reach across India. To me, the timing couldn't be more obvious - this is happening in the post-9/11 years, when Pakistan and China find it politically riskier to fund Islamist jihadis against India, and are therefore compelled to bolster an alternative proxy.

We can see that the Maoists are playing a game of "politique du pire" and could care less about resolving social issues. Violence is their first preference and not their last resort.

India has Predator-type drones in its arsenal, and it should use them for surgical strikes against the Maoist leadership. They should be taught a painful lesson that terrorism is not an entertaining leisure pursuit, but a dangerous activity with severe consequences.

Will Prabhakaran/LTTE Flee to India?

Here is analysis by B Raman:

http://ramansterrorismana...-after-kilinochchi-q.html

He writes:
Q. What are the chances of he and his cadres taking shelter in India?

A. The Governments of India and Tamil Nadu will not allow it.However, one has to be alert to the possibility that the Maoists (Naxalites) inthe tribal belt of central India who have some territorial control in the jungles might help him and give him shelter in return for theassistance which the LTTE had allegedly given them in the past. If he manages to reach the Maoists controlled territory, the ability of oursecurity forces to get at him may be limited. In the case of the LTTE cadres, some of them might succeed to come over to India as refugees. This would call for stricter vetting of the refugee flow in order to identigy and arrest such elements.
Will LTTE leaders, including Velupillai Prabhakaran, flee into Maoist-controlled areas of India?
Because that is the only area where I can see him able to go -- into jungles between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, or Andhra Pradesh.
LTTE has collaborated with the Naxalites in the past, and they could grant him sanctuary. India being a soft state, and not tough like Sri Lanka, means that if LTTE leaders hole up inside India, we won't be able to nab them. Meanwhile, they'd make common cause with the Naxalites, and use them as a stepping stone to set Tamil Nadu on fire. Is this why Pakistan has been trying to help Colombo defeat LTTE - so that they could push the Eelam war into India? Or are they only motivated by China's String-of-Pearls agenda in this regard?

Church operating in "Maoist" Burka camouflage: Panchjanya

Incisive analysis by Shri. Devendra Swarup in the Panchjanya on the christist antecedents of the alleged "Maoists" infesting India's remote regions. The editorial contends that the christist church is camouflaging itself with a "Maoist" Burka, not just in Orissa, but the entire Vanvasi inhabited belt including Telangana, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand right upto Nepal.

The magnitude and scale of the international propaganda offensive unleashed by "persecution" bleating "Fathers" is simply beyond the organisational capacity of "Naxalites". A case in point is the lobbying by 21 Nobel laureates to release Christian Medical College, Vellore alumnus - "Dr" Binayak Sen, a prominent baptised "Maoist" currently in the custody of the state government of Chattisgarh. Take one look at some of the brainwashed "Naxalite" cadre. They can at best serve as "useful idiots" - not as ideologues who conceive of original dialectical materialism theses or their applicability to India.

The "Maoist" movement is a massive conspiracy by the christist church modeled on the "Liberation Theology" of wretched christist anarchists in South America to prepare the ground ultimately for an armed insurrection and takeover of the Indian nation for "Christ", as in "Nagaland for Christ" (sic). Christist insurgents have a proven track record of success in the South American Banana republics, the Indian North East and have most recently tasted blood in Nepal.

Unfortunately, this analysis is very plausible given recent events. India can ignore it at its own peril.

Maovadi pandering to Jihadis in Hindu Nepal

Stealth christist Prachanda is apparently leaving no stone unturned to hasten the Maovadi holy war to annihilate Hindu civilisation in Nepal. Unfortunately, the Indian plague of "Secularism" and Dhimmocracy are now firmly entrenched in Nepal. If left unchecked, this Mullah/Missionary/Marxist 3M axis of evil in Nepal will grow into a major threat to Indian sovereignty and the continued existence of Hindu civilisation in South Asia. Now that the capitulationist psec puppet regime in New Delhi is on its deathbed, will the Hindu nationalist resistance take note? Or seek comfort in indecisiveness and inaction?
There is a creeping dhimmitude within certain sections of the BJP itself that encourage such pandering to the 3M thugs that make me despondent.

"Kathmandu, July 9: The Nepal Maoists, who played a key role in abolishing the 240-year-old Hindu monarchy and turning the country into a secular state, have vowed to ensure special rights to the minority Muslim community in the Himalayan nation.
“It is not enough to provide equal rights to the Muslims but they should be given special rights as compensation for having been suppressed,” CPN-Maoist Chairman Prachanda told a gathering of the Muslim

Prachanda, who is poised to lead the new government in Nepal, promised to form a ‘Muslim Commission’ for the welfare of the minority community and develop historically important pilgrimage sites of the community as tourist destinations.

In the past, the Maoist cadres were known to slaughter cows in remote villages and even punish people for celebrating Hindu festivals like Dussera and Diwali."

"Eminent intellectuals" breast beating for imprisoned Naxal ideologoue

The People’s Union of Civil Liberties (PUCL) is a Naxalite front organisation. One of it's bearded Jholawallah ideologues has been arrested for providing logistics support to Maoist terror in Chattisgarh. So far so good. But, why are the "eminent intellectuals" provoked into ritual breast beating over the arrest of Maovadi terrorists?

"Among the activists who formed part of the delegation were Amit Bhaduri, Professor JNU, social activist Medha Patkar, Magsaysay Awardees Sandeep Pandey and Arvind Kejriwal, retired DU professor Uma Chakravarty (who has also done commendable work on 1984 pogroms), former Ambassador Madhu Bhaduri, DU’s Nivedita Menon, Panjab University’s Gopal Iyer and media activist Manish Sisodia...."

Look what another "eminent intellectual" has to say:
"What has happened to him is a very dangerous signal for all of us as we are beginning to see the results of a society that is becoming a police society, where every problem is approached as a military problem. This is happening in Northeast where the public security act and the armed forces special powers act are enforced."

ROTFL. Stealth christist Arundhati Roy actually thinks that the softest of soft states, namely Indian dhimmocracy is turning into a "police state" !!! Whereas, in the real world, Maovadi terrorists are in de facto control of some 160 districts across the nation and strike at will at the time and location of their choosing, routinely massacring security personnel and collecting "protection money" from government agencies for "permission" to operate in their "revolutionary zones". Sorry, Miss Roy but that is the definition of anarchy that warrants a "military solution" (gasp) from the Gandhian welfare state, notwithstanding the mournful breast beating by you and your fellow travellers.

Naxalite terror in Jharkhand

Shivraj Patil and Manmohan Singh will issue their customary statements about "situation being tense, but under control". Babulal Marandi is a former BJP chief minister of Jharkhand. It takes a lot of courage to defy Maoist terror in these remote corners of the country. The reach, scale of operation and area of control of the Naxalite thugs is expanding unchecked as the dhimmocrats justify it in terms of "root causes of alienation" and others like Samuel Reddy co opt them in their electoral rigging strategies. If Maoist terror is not crushed with an iron hand, at this rate, not much of India will be left to govern.

Food riots in Stalinist West Bengal

A very unedifying episode for the nation, but typical of the enforced deprivation of the proletariat under communism. Food riots of this kind were a familiar occurrence in the Soviet block during the cold war, but when did they last occur in independent India? Trading of allegations between the Kaangress and the Communists is certainly entertaining, but the stark reality is that West Bengal under the Maoists is not very different from Stalinist North Korea.
Deprivation manufactured by the Communists and Nehruvian Stalinists is what attracts ghouls like Teresa to Bengal.

Spindian Express -- taking cudgels for the left

More spin from the Spindian Express.

Of particular note is the opening line:
Left parties have, justifiably, prided themselves on two attributes: probity in public life and a secular, modern outlook that takes a particularly dim view of public religiosity.

This is good to know -- by this yardstick, the Left rascals should have no compunctions in coming clean about their high treason in 1962 during the Indo-China war.

And by the way -- the left does not like Religiosity unless it is to their God -- Mao.
In that, they're like the other exclusivist ideologies that strut around calling themselves "Religions".

China's penchant for executions

Departing from its usual gushing tone on China, the Economist utters some home-truths about it. China leads the world in yearly execution of hapless victims. If I am not mistaken, they even send mobile execution vans around (the sort used by 3rd world countries to round-up & kill stray dogs) to kill people with lethal injection etc. I am sure N.Ram would approve of such methods...

Maoists = Taliban (or is it the other way round)

Still more proof that the Maoists who hold sway over large parts of India are no different from the Taliban.

In fact, they may be worse.

In a new low, the Taliban is now using minors (12 year old boys) to behead "American spies"

A continuous 2 1/2-minute shot then shows the victim lying on his side on a patch of rubble-strewn ground. A man holds Nabi by his beard while the boy, wearing a camouflage military jacket and oversized white sneakers, cuts into the throat. Other men and boys call out "Allahu akbar!" — "God is great!" — as blood spurts from the wound.

The film, overlain with jihadi songs, then shows the boy hacking and slashing at the man's neck until the head is severed.

Truly ghoulish but entirely unsurprising.

Unwilling to stomach such oneupmanship, the Maoists have gone one further -- they will now use newborns to spread their brand of hate.
DANTEWADA (Chhattisgarh): Maoists here have ordered pregnant women to deliver only at makeshift camps run by women guerrillas so that the children can dedicate themselves to extreme left ideology.

"The children, boys or girls, will be enrolled as new cadres and will be brought up in a culture that will help fulfil the long-awaited dream of liberating the red zone," he added. Police say the 20,000 armed Maoists who operate in India have formed the 'red zone' from southern India to Nepal's border [emphasis added].
Can GoI declare CPI(Maoist) and their brethren "Terrorist organisations" who are out to Balkanise India? Oh sorry.. i forgot that MMS aspires to do the same

Madhesis Rising

Maoists in Nepal have received a taste of their own medicine from the Madhesis of Southern Nepal. Hundreds of Maoists trying call themselves Madhesis attempted to take over a venue being used for a protest gathering by genuine local Madhesi groups numbering ten times greater. In the ensuing clash, somewhere between 25-50 Maoists were killed. The Madhesis are unabashedly Hindu and oppose the dissolution of the Nepalese monarchy, something that infuriates the Maoists, who are now howling for revenge. Notice how the Maoists are cremating their dead at Hindu temples even while draping bodies in red hammer-and-sickle flags.
