Dear karyakarta92, Mahesh's last wife was Shveta Jaishankar,whom he divorced, was from a Tamil Iyer family of doctors.He entered into a relationship with the xtian actress Lara Dutta even before his divorce. No word from the ex-wife regarding the xtian stuff she would have had to undergo.
Bhupathi's uncle was caught red handed by Anti-Corruption folks while accepting a bribe. He is Hindu, from Padmashali caste (Telugu weavers community). The man was proud of his brother in US. Not sure who in the family converted and when.
