Hi Rajeev,
I came across this "silent" rendering of Indian National Anthem - absolutely brilliant production and presentation. I am not particularly impressed by Indian National Anthem's musical composition, but this presentation certainly makes it very impressive.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. This sounds like something done by A R Rahman.
The military band rendition of the National Anthem is absolutely wonderful and the harmonic composition is very tastefully done.
Two versions are below:

In fact, putting myself in a fully neutral standpoint as far as the music is concerned, I tend to like the Indian and US National Anthems as purely compositional pieces compared to any others that I've heard.
Such tasteless butchery, and actually changing the harmonic background, as anyone who knows something about western classical music would surely notice, is not something that should go down well with any right thinking person.
