US Says Davis Was CIA, Pak Defiant on Handover
US officials have admitted that Raymond Davis was a contractor for the CIA, sent to scout ahead for potential security problems, but was not a case officer or paramilitary. Meanwhile, Pakistan remains defiant on US demands he be handed back.
