Saudi Cleric Bans Bioethanol Fuel
Not wishing to see his faith being even accidentally mistaken as reasonable, a Saudi cleric has issued a warning to his people against driving cars that use ethanol in their fuel mixture. No, I'm not making this up.

This is one of the few times I find a Saudi Cleric resonable.
If the proportion of ethanol mixed in automobiles rises, who will buy all the crude oil from the otherwise useless Arabs?
Lets wait now for a fatwa against solar and wind energy.

Not sure, but could it be that Saudis are trying to use Islam to protect their economy ? Because if bio diesel is termed unIslamic, then is it possible that countries with "inclusive" goverments like Britain will find it difficult to enforce compulsary mixing of biofuels for automobiles ?
And if the Arabs are scared of biofuels, it is the most sure sign that biofuels are reaching a critical mass. There can be no better evidence.
