ISRO Reveals Space Capsule Design

India's ISRO has revealed its design for a space capsule to be used on its upcoming manned spaceflight mission. It looks to be fairly original in design, rather than a straight copy of a Soyuz.
This will be the Antrikshyaan Mk-1.

ISRO and the term "independent" don't go together. Much of the technology that has come from Nehruvian establishments has been what is termed as "screwdriver technology." It is only a matter of time before ISRO makes this into an international project with the management and funds being provided by ISRO.
