Staying alive or being declared dead is no longer in Jyoti Basu's hands. Wonder who is not declaring him dead yet and for what? Or is anyone waiting for a muhurta?
It was disgusting to watch the shrilly HLM (The 'exclusive' news channels) and their telecast of the solar eclipse. One channel had a panel of 'scientists' and astrologers tell about the eclipse and one 'scientist' was telling something really nonsense, esp. linking it with religion calling it superstition etc.
thanks, doubtinggourav. yes, it comes back to me now: it was saturday night live's "generalissimo francisco etc. etc." somehow i thought it was monty python.
