I wrote in this forum some time earlier that India’s survival itself will be at stake, if Hyderabad becomes a separate state or UT and that it is stupid of BJP, which claims to be nationalistic, not to have visualized this simple scenario.
There is no easy solution to the present mess in AP. The people from non-Telangana areas in the state have contributed a lot in the last 25 years for the development of Hyderabad, which has come to occupy a pride of place in India. It is an incontrovertible fact that Chandrababu Naidu has in his nine year rule worked hard to make Hyderabad one of the most happening places in the country. And now, all of a sudden non-Telangana people stare at the possibility of losing Hyderabad, if Telangana separates out, as Hyderabad, embedded in Telangana cannot serve as a joint capital.

A possible solution is to rename the entire Andhra Pradesh as Telangana.
