hu's been insulted? :-)

apr 24th

i quite liked this bit about hu losing face and being treated like an
errant schoolboy. it must burn the chinese up no end.

subtle insults by the yanks, eh? they *are* getting pretty scared of the
chinese and are boning up on sun tzu, no doubt.

i wonder what sun tzu says about insults? let me make up something: "the
wise general does not show his anger, but bides his time to strike when
the time is ripe. but the wise general never forgets; he merely figures
out ways in which to return the insult magnified tenfold"

:-) pretty good, eh? just like the real sun tzu? i have read the text,
in fact i own a copy of the text and an interpretation. i find it to be
just one level more coherent than a fortune cookie ("confucious say wife
who put husband in dog-house find him in cat-house" :-) if you didnt get
it, look up what dog-house and cat-house mean in colloquial american
slang).

sun tzu's work is basically a lot of pious nonsense which can be
interpreted to mean all sorts of things.

btw, hu's performance was better than manmohan singh's in the us
congress. singh demonstrated to the entire world that he is a puppet on
a chain. when the puppeteer was not there to tell him what to do, he
looked exactly like dan quayle: unsure what to do, uncomfortable,
blinking like a deer caught in the headlights.

Click below to see the Chinese President humiliated at White House. I am
very happy, given that it is sweet revenge for the routinely obnoxious
attitude displayed by the Chinese, towards Indian Govt. officials and
India in general right here in our homeland.
