Introduction

What people do about their ecology depends on what they think about
themselves in relation to things around them. Human ecology is deeply
conditioned by beliefs about our nature and destiny that is, by
religion. To Western eyes this is very evident in, say, India or
Ceylon. It is equally true of ourselves and of our medieval ancestors.

Sorry for being posting OFT here yesterday i had been to kanyakumari for the first time while its place and nice to see vivekananda rock and experience THAT feeling that you are at the tip of mainland india but two things stuck out one why cant tamils allow just vivekanada status there why did they add that fish shaped tirullvvalur ? and more sadly now from the horizon there are so many chruches and more in the offering i.e in contrsuction ,i mean serioulsy how christians are there and how many churches do they need at that rate in the near future the entire coastline will be covered with churches and also some mary festival was just over sore thing indeed
