The part about infrastructure hurts but it is sadly quite true.

We need to do heavy manufacturing investment in the Rajasthan-Gujarat corridor coupled with sinking some of the rising foreign exchange dollars in an innovation fund for solar energy.

Make in Rajasthan and ship out to the west via Gujarat -->Suez and onwards. That way we
1- do not end up polluting good agricultural land,
2- become world champs in harnessing solar energy which even China cannot take way
3- Actually save shipping distance and time by avoiding circuiting the Cape of Good Hope
4- Kickstart economic development in that most noble of all lands. Rajasthan - bearing the brunt of a millennium of Islamic ravages. We can make our civilization flower again in the dried-up basin of the lost Saraswati river.

Now that is a mission statement - sure beats Kennedy's moon mission - or even creating a Jewish homeland.

Sadly lost this message on the current government - there is more money to be made in kickbacks by importing fission reactors and the TN Shipping minister Baalu cannot have investment going anywhere but in favored Dravida-land.
