Fwd: Hillary Clinton, China and India

oct 25th, 2007

i don't actually care what hillary thinks, because her chances of winning are not good. red-blooded yanks ain't gonna elect no woman to be commander-in-chief.

and i'd also not get into a tizzy based on what brajesh mishra says. the excitable ram narayan is very concerned about india america friendship, but i think there's no friendship, only an occasional convergence of interests.

and there's some resident democrat-fan on this blog. wonder what he has to say about hillary's alleged statement.

Dear Rajeev Srinivasan:

In an interview ( http://www.indianexpress.com/story/232137.html), Brajesh Mishra, National Security Adviser to the former BJP-led NDA government is quoted as follows:

>>>>>When told that the next White House, a probable Hillary Clinton administration, would be more anti-proliferationist, Mishra said: "She has also more or less indicated that as far as Asia is concerned, her pride of place for foreign policy would be given to China." <<<<<

If Hillary Clinton has indeed said that "as far as Asia is concerned, her pride of place for foreign policy would be given to China," it's something that friends of India, including the Indian American community, need to be concerned about.

Will the community leaders, especially the Indian American Democratic leaders and funders, request her to clarify her position.

Rajeev,

Hillary is the next POTUS, unless there is a debilitating scandal. I am saying this not because I am a fan of her, far from it, but judging by her campaign strength. She is the shoo-in Dem candidate and I don’t see any Republicans running this time carrying any state that Kerry carried in ‘04 and some say Hillary will attract 30% of Republican women voters. And remember most swing voters are sick and tired of Bush’s 8 years of miserable rule and want a definite change of guard in the White House. This is why I am saying Hillary is the next POTUS.

And may I ask who is that resident democrat fan?

Nooo Siva, not Hillary. I want Rudi Guiliani to be the next POTUS. He's a tough, no-nonsense popular guy, & he's said he'll take action against the Pukis. Whether he does or not is a different issue. But to me, he's still better than the rest.

This gentleman Ram Narayanan promotes India-US friendship. While the other N.Ram promotes India-China friendship!

What's up with the name Ram & N?

So if we name a person Ram-Ram, will he promote India-India friendship?
