The myth and truth of Godhra
- Arvind Lavakare

Since no 'secularist' or 'liberal' or 'objective'
person ever challenged the above sets of figures, some
questions arise: Who killed 200-odd Hindus so early in
those riots? Was it the police or the Hindus
themselves? And what made those 40,000 Hindus rush to
relief camps? Was it fear of Hindu mob violence, rape,
arson and murder?

Evangelists in the Punjab

To Christian...u r right my friend...Hindus shouldn't fight back..they should always take it lying down...just let the other people beat the hell out of them...n then like cowards escape to relief camps...
To all these 'sickularists'...keep flogging a dead horse...ppl. r tired of ur games n hate-mongring politics..n hopefully the Gujarat voters will give a befitting reply to u as well as ur backers by re-electing Modi...then @ that time it would behoove of ur class (although given the belligerent n self-righteous nature of ur cohorts I don't for a single moment believe that they'll do this) to remember (if I m not wrong) the quote attributed to American President Lincoln:

You can fool all the ppl. some of the time...
you can fool some of the ppl. all the time...
you can't fool all the ppl. all the time...

There are 3-4 different routes of building the canal - some of which do not harm the Rama Sethu.
The path proposed by the BJP did not harm the Rama Sethu. The demon TT Baalu decided to build it by directly destroying the Rama Sethu.
Govindacharya knows this perfectly well - he is just playind stupid desi-style politics to get some importance.

Church asks CPI(M) to take cue from China

Last week, marking another step away from its Marxist roots, the 17th Congress of CPC incorporated “religion”and “business” in its constitution as part of Hu Jintao’s “scientific outlook on development” to promote private industry and protect religion. Though the CPC has been atheistic officially, it had never prohibited religious beliefs of party members. But the shift towards religion last week, has surprised some desi comrades. Taking cue from Beijing, church officials are wondering as to why the Marxists are still clinging to their disdain for the “faithful”.
