Thanks

Thanks a lot to all - KapiDhwaja, Nizhal Yoddha, Arvind, Raghu, Non-Carborundum, Habc, S.
Yep, married life is fun, but the fact that patneejee does not mind my drinking (as long as I dont do it in front of her, and dont exceed the quota set for the week) helps.
Also, drinking reminds me - Why is drinking considered bad (in general) in Indian society? When it was acceptable in India many centuries ago, plus our Gods endorse it. Is it the effect of Islamic colonialism ? Maybe it also explains why calling someone a suar

S, I dont have that old gentleman's email or contact.

The old gentleman also pointed out that India has one of the largest amount of arable land, plus varied species of flora and fauna.

Bad, Bad Boy, DarkStorm. Stop Drinking:-) You can drink "Som-Ras" after you become a God yourself. I think god Indra became "Indra" after performing a 100 Horse-Sacrifices. Maybe you can try something like that. Until then, Cheers!

Kapidhwaja,

One should drink and make it socially acceptable, like in the good old days. We should not base our morals on the "religion of peace" ;-)

A lil mug or peg a week aint that harmful :-)

If you notice drinking is much more socially acceptable in South India compared to North India - that might point to the ROP

15 hurt in Gujarat over Osama posters

Eighteen people were arrested and prohibitory orders clamped in Vadodara on Sunday after a mob attacked the police in the early hours.
Locals attacked the police because they were apparently upset over Saturday’s arrest of six people who on Friday took out a spontaneous rally with posters of Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden.

Manmohan Singh talking about ethics is 'devil quoting scriptures'. No one will/should take it seriously.
