likely it is Tully. per wikipedia tully landed back in india in 1965. francois g was born in 1959 and came to india at the age of 19 ...i.e around 77-78.
i read an interview with tully. he denied that it was he, and the description of the book -- as well as the writing here -- seems more of a caricature than reality. but then why is the new indian express publishing it?
