A Student's Guide to Hosting Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week Oct 22-26
October 22-26, 2007

During the week of October 22-26, 2007, the nation will be rocked by
the biggest conservative campus protest ever - Islamo-Fascism
Awareness Week, a wake-up call for Americans on 200 university and
college campuses.

The purpose of this protest is as simple as it is crucial: to confront
the two Big Lies of the political left: that George Bush created the
war on terror and that Global Warming is a greater danger to Americans
than the terrorist threat. Nothing could be more politically incorrect
than to point this out. But nothing could be more important for
American students to hear. In the face of the greatest danger
Americans have ever confronted, the academic left has mobilized to
create sympathy for the enemy and to fight anyone who rallies
Americans to defend themselves. According to the academic left, anyone
who links Islamic radicalism to the war on terror is an "Islamophobe."
According to the academic left, the Islamo-fascists hate us not
because we are tolerant and free, but because we are "oppressors."

Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week is a national effort to oppose these
lies and to rally American students to defend their country.

This is just a personal opinion - there is no need to align with this bunch of neocons, Bushies, born-agains etc. These worthies hadn't even heard of terrorism when Indians and people in various parts of the world were being slaughtered. They're right, Bush didn't create it, but his fellow Yanks did their best to nurture the beast. We don't have to align ourselves or invest the least bit emotionally with American causes, left or right. They can fight it out to their hearts' content with their beloved mujahideen. Let's just look after ourselves, because these people usually lecture us about 'growing inequalities causing social unrest' when bombs explode in our cities. Even as I'm aware that you see through all this, it's a surprise you have chosen to give this space on your blog. Apologies if any of this sounds like rude and unsolicited opinion.

remember: no permanent friends, only permanent interests.

one sometimes has to hold one's nose and ally with/encourage others just because their interest happen to coincide with yours. it so happens that what the neocons did has helped india. them attacking iraq has helped divert a lot of mohammedan terrorism and attention towards the white countries. that means fewer terrorists are targeting india.

Big Brother: How MI5 kept watch on Orwell
Orwell, who used his experience of heading the unit responsible for wartime broadcasts in English to India as the basis for the Ministry of Truth and Room 101 in 1984, made clear his displeasure when the Indian Office turned down a friend and Marxist novelist, Mulk Raj Anand, for a post and vowed to challenge the decision.
The documents suggest that the rebuff was sufficient to curtail the Yard' s interest in Orwell, who was rapidly becoming an established author but was still to write his two best-known books, 1984 and the anti-Stalinist allegory Animal Farm.
He read everything he could on the Nazis and Communists. That was the basis for the world he describes in 1984. I think he would have been rather surprised to know he was being watched in Britain."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winston_Churchill
When Hitler invaded the Soviet Union, Winston Churchill, a vehement anti-Communist, famously stated "If Hitler were to invade Hell, I should find occasion to make a favourable preference to the Devil," regarding his policy toward Stalin. Soon, British supplies and tanks were flowing to help the Soviet Union.
