there are hundreds of stories in indian newspapers about 9/11.
but hardly any about 10 million (yes) people affected in assam.
no wonder the northeasterners are so alienated.
tarun vijay's article on rediff was an eye-opener as to how we have basically lost that entire region.

Frankly Rajeev ( I mean no offense, really) given the pathetic state of this country it wont be a bad idea if u stop putting ur self into a spin writing about the “failing or failed” state that is India and simply concentrate on news items like “pee-powered” batteries.
