godman ratzinger scared white christists will go extinct; displays no concern for planet

sept 9th, 2007

naturally, godman ratzy is in a life and death struggle with mohammedans to get into the guinness book of records as the imperialist death-cult with the greatest number of brainwashed zombies.

also, his little aside about the planet is quite amusing: so you want more white people to be born each of whom causes 35x the damage to the planet than poor non-whites? as the commenter points out below, doesn't quite compute. but then logic is not a godman strong point.

Pope brands childless Europeans selfish

MARIAZELL, Austria:
Pope Benedict XVI has blasted Europeans for being selfish and not having enough children, in a sermon at the 850-year-old pilgrimage site of Mariazell in Austria. "Europe has become child-poor. We want everything for ourselves and place little trust in the future," the Pope told a crowd of faithful from his canopied area at an open-air afternoon mass that took place under heavy rain. But Benedict held out hope, saying: "The earth will be deprived of a future only when the forces of the human heart and of reason illuminated by the heart are extinguished ... Where God is, there is the future." It was the second time in as many days that the Pope decried Europe's declining birth rates. On Friday he condemned abortion, rejecting the concept that it could be considered a human right, and urged politicians to enact legislation to help new families. "The fundamental human right, the presupposition of every other right, is the right to life itself," he told members of the Government and the diplomatic corps at the Hofburg, the seat of the Austrian presidency in Vienna. The average birth rate in the European Union is down to about 1.5 children per woman, raising fears that an ageing population will not be able to finance pensions systems.

Isn't the Pope himself a childless European?"

And further, he is one with unlimited assets, living in luxury and honor, with personal power and authority. How much more selfish can one person get?

Then he has the temerity to brand those who reduce their breeding out of concern for the planet and ALL life on earth "selfish."

There's no end to the irony.

Pope Benedict XVI said Wednesday he has a "growing awareness" of the need to save the planet, and urged the faithful to pray and work with him for the protection of the environment. "Encouraged by a growing awareness of the need to defend the environment, I invite you to pray and work with me for a better respect of the wonders of God's creation," he said.

So Pope, you think that more people in one of the parts of the earth that uses the most resources would be an excellent way to save the planet, do you? Looks like Benedict isn't too hot on thinking things through.
