You have probably read about M. Karunanidhi's ex cathedra pronouncement that there is no "historical proof" (as per exacting Dravidian standards) for Shri Rama's existence.
That being the case, we may note that the "Great Father" Periyar, his illustrious heir, Mr. Karunanidhi, and their myrmidons have been shouting themselves hoarse for almost three quarters of a century that Shri Rama was an "Aryan invader" who, along with his Brahmana votaries should be kicked out of Tamil Nadu, along with the Aryan language, Samskrit etc. etc.
Now, since the Dravidian oracle has declared that there is no historical proof of the very existence of their bete noir, leaving his "invasion" in shambles, it amounts to admitting that Dravidian luminaries have been basing their enemity against certain castes purely on the basis of hallucination. After all, even the worst scoundrel has the right to the occasional half-truth.
This hallucinatory feature of their ideology now puts them squarely in the august company of the revelatory Abrahamic cults. A corollary (or collateral damage?) is that Lankesvara Ravana is can no longer be called a "Dravidian martyr," unless he (incidentally a Samavedi Brahmana himself, as per the Ramayana, but that's no problem for Dravidian "rationalists") is presumed to share the "rational" Dravidian predilection for tilting at windmills. Such speculation, of course, would never pass muster with Occam's razor, but then, why should the proud Dravidians be forced slavishly import foreign razors?

I thnk three of the biggest tragedies of post-independent India have been the hijacking of Tamil Nadu by the so called dravidians parties & of West Bengal & Kerala by the commies. Three states with enormous potential in every sense of the term but wasted due to a bunch of goons.
One can judge this Leader of the Yellow Towel from his act of naming his son after a notorious mass murderer. Has to be something seriously wrong with either of the two, the father or the son, for Papa Yellow Towel to name Baby Yellow Towel as "Stalin".
Karunanidhi is revealing the lie behind Periyar's claim that his "atheism" wasn't directed against any particular community or culture. It certainly was of course, just as Karunanidhi's is today.
