"Perversity as secularism": KPS Gill on the Rama Setu issue

It is heartening to know that the Sikhs are as offended as the Hindus with the Kaangress's insistance on Lord Rama's non-existence. I guess 70% of the Sikhs' holy scriptures contain one form or the other of Lord Vishnu's name.

From the article:

The individuals concerned at every level of the drafting and approval of this pernicious affidavit need to be clearly and publicly identified and penalised for causing unnecessary offence to Hindus - the majority community in this country, and one that is evidently not regarded as a vote-bank by the so-called 'secular' parties - and, indeed, to many non-Hindus who share in the vibrant collective and cultural consciousness of India's variegated civilisation.

A Khushwant Singh joke:
Sikh scholars sat down to take Hinduism out of the Granth Sahib. They took it out page by page. In the end, however, they were left holding the binding cover in their hands.

KPS Gill should have been the Home Minister. What a contrast to the Patils and MM Singhs he would have made.

Ram is the most common name in the Guru Granth Sahib, followed by IIANM, Hari, and Amar.

Jo Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akal,
Wahe Guruji Da Khalsa, Wahe Guruji di Fateh,

It does not matter what we believe in or venerate. It only matters if we respect each other. And KPS once again puts in context only in the way he can.
