i dont mean to be crude, but i thnk this is one of the reasons why so many Britishers (& other westerners for that matter) have always taken to islam. Their fascination for ottoman culture / smarkand / persia, or for that matter for the nawabi culture in india -- lucknow / hyderbad -- or the horrendous pushtu / pathan culture , etc. etc. More in keeping with their perverted tastes.
