The truth about who (China) is encircling whom (India) - love the use of the McMahon act to demonstrate just how much Pakistan matters to China.
Before the Yankee fans start to daydream - please note that America will do nothing - NOTHING - to break up this big hug between friends. Why? Because America can live with a China that crushes India; just as long as it does not challenge America.
Also given that Gwadar port-pipeline will link up Chinese markets with Iranian energy - is it time we wrote-off the Iranian relationship? It can be used as a bargaining chip to extract benefits of America (learn from that most wonderful client state - Pakistan)
