possible breakthrough in energy storage technology?

if this claim is anywhere near the truth, it could case a sea-change in the demand for petroleum for vehicles. and that would mean the key would be electricity generation, not digging oil out of the ground.

this could be a seriously disruptive technology! sure hope OPEC doesn't buy and shelve the patents.
