When China Tells Mush to 'Mush!'

China gave a tug on Musharraf's leash and a jab of the spurs, to send the general bolting into action to end the Lal Masjid standoff. Unfortunately, in his haste to please, he then blundered into a Bluestar fiasco. Many survivors complained of a sudden last-minute breakdown in talks between the govt and the jihadis, which precipitated the raid and its resulting shootout. Most likely, the breakdown was due to the jihadi insistence on having the Chinese prostitutes first apologize on national TV as a prerequisite for jihadi surrender. Mushy knew China was having none of this, and so he threw further caution to the winds, in order to serve his master's voice.
