Watch the US Air Force hunt down the Taliban
Watch this video of USAF AC-130 aircraft swat the Taliban in Afghanistan like mosquitos during a night raid. Do turn-on the volume while watching. We have to be thankful to the Yanks for doing our job, as otherwise these Talib scum would be directed against India.

They are finishing off the people her father wants to hug at wagah and garland, give "first claim of resources" to claim to "make peace" with.
If they (the taliban and all their sundry brethren) are blasted to kingdom come, her father is likely to be quite ... well ... jobless!
it is difficult (at least for me) to understand which country is most subverted, USA, INDIA, or EU (yeah...it is fictitious country).
We should, of course, forget that it was the US that armed and trained the Taliban precursors for years.
And how dare we even suggest that the U. S. turned a blind eye to the ISI role in establishing the Taliban in Afghanistan.
How rude it would be to recall the WSJ article from 1995 that welcomed the Taliban as 'student' liberators.
One advantage of being powerful is that you can play the game of creating nuisances for others and blast those nuisances when they turn on youself.
What USA did was right in that time, because communists were the bigger menace. Now that mullahs are problems bigger than anyone else, there is nothing wrong in blasting them too.
For me as an Indian, USA was not creating problems for India. The problems were felt in India because our leaders led us towards the losing side of the cold war and were no smart enough to handle the situation. e.g. indian government has probably the worst record in handling the hostage situation in whole world.
I wonder if things like non-violence and ethics ever play any useful part in practical politics.
Those who try to do inject non-violence (and other ideology driven dogma) etc into politics like mohandas gandhi ultimately end up as hopeless useful idiots in the hands of those who play by more natural rules of power like mohammad ali jinnah.

Russia was a larger communist threat than China, and it was with a view to contain Russia that USA armed its ally India's adversary Pakistan.
Similarly using communists as and when you like is better than showing uniform hatred that heps them gang up against you.
'Collateral damage' occurs from both side. When thousands die in terrorist bombings in USA, when Indians go jobless because of depressed economy post the bombings, and when Indians and Sikhs are humiliated due to thier dastradly act in UK, that is also collateral damage.
USA is taliban's confirmed enemy and is finishing off what could be the biggest nuisnace for India, you would have known had you been travelling in Mumbai local trains.
what makes you beleive that saving these lives was American government responsibilty and not Indian ?

It amazes to see how few Americans have ever even heard of the ISI or even consider the possibility of its involvement in 9/11.
One must think of the extraordinary blackmail the Pakistani's must have used on the U. S. to arrange for the Kunduz airlift.
Again, while some Americans get their jollies on youtube, the masterminds of 9/11 and their key soldiers are no doubt cavroting in the diplomatic enclave in Islamabad.
