very narrow definition indeed. and therefore musharraf as 'key ally
against terror'. the bush administration and state department belief
is that if musharraf's pet murderers are killing indians, they will be
desisting from killing white people.
this is why it is so interesting that the haneef, kaleef, sabeel-type
terrorists are refraining from killing indians, and focusing on
killing whites, especially brits. (yanks are nice people, at least,
even if their governments are not. the brits are wholly without any
saving grace, the insufferable prigs. except one or two, like
christopher hitchens, who so deliciously savages m. teresa and the
godfathers of the church like godman ratzinger. and maybe a few scots
who loathe the english.)
which is why i don't quite understand all the breast-beating about
haneef et al. exactly what is the problem? britain has been exporting
terrorists to india for some time. good example is that fellow omar
sheikh who was responsible for killing a lot of indians, and was one
of those released by the kandahar hijacking. and lots of other
brit-born pakistani terrorists who have come to india as well. so why
is it such a big deal that india is exporting, in kind, the same type
of terrorists?
i never thought i'd ever see the day i saw eye-to-eye with e. ahamed
(india's minister for saving mohammedans everywhere in the world), but
i guess haneef-kaleef-sabeel should be given a heros' welcome. in
other words, "thank you for wanting to kill villainous and perfidious
brits, not indians. good on ya, mates! too bad you were so dumb".

You hit the nail on the head! Americans are for the most part very fair-minded and nice people. Brits still think that with Gibraltar and Falklands that they are still an empire. They are absolute garbage, but don't worry...
--There are more Catholics in Britain than Protestants. Anglicans are a minority
--Muslims are gaining more and more power in Britain, and we Hindus should definitely help them get it. My goal is to see 30% of ALL govt positions in Britain going to Muslims within next 3-5 years. --Add some Irish to the list of people to like along with the Scots who do hate Brits. I have met many Irish who despise the English. Many Irish Americans still send money to Northern Ireland.
For example, I never liked Mickey Rourke's movies until I found out that he supports a free united Ireland. He is Irish to the core. Now, he is one of my favorite actors. There are many other Irish in Boston, NYC, Chicago who want to gain freedom from Britain. We should build bridges with them and help them get it.
Quite honestly though, Scotland is more likely to get its freedom that Northern Ireland. With Northern Ireland there is still a lot of emotions and bloody modern history involved, and Britain just won't let go of it yet...
With Scotland, the bloody memories are from centuries ago and people have forgotten the blood spilled. Also, Scots are very educated, very intelligent, enterprising people. They won't throw rocks. They will do things the right way---they'll gain economic independence, and then they will vote against staying with Britain.
We really need to help the Scots gain freedom. I have built some relationships with like-minded Scots and Irish who want to gain independence from Britain. In our lifetimes, Scotland can be a free nation. Let's help them!
I don’t think UK would fall to Islamism any time soon. Even though Brits deserved to get screwed by Islamists, at the end of the date Brits are smarter. Just look at the official numbers of Muslims in Britain and compare it with that of France’s. Muslims are about 3% of UK’s population while France has some where between 5 to 10%. Some estimate put the figure far ahead, something like 25% if we consider population only under the age of 20. France is in deep shit already and Brits as usual are smart and did not allow large migration of Mussalmans into their country. We have to give credit to Brits for this foresight. Brits just talked sweet and gave Mussalmans freedom where the land does not belong to them, like for example in India. But they were very smart in guarding their own territory against Islam.
