Jihadi-Chini Bhai-Bhai No More

The Jihadis have now started targetting Chinese, in the wake of the Lal Masjid blowup. As we know, it was the jihadi seizure of the Chinese "masseuses" and the gunning down of 3 Chinese in NWFP which triggered Beijing's infamous hot temper, forcing their toady Musharraf to do a mini-Tiananmen on the Lal Masjid. In the aftermath of that disaster, a busload of Chinese were targetted in a jihadi suicide bombing, which they escaped by luck. Now today, a bunch of Korean moonie missionaries in Afghanistan were kidnapped by the Taliban, most likely mistaken for Chinese. All of a sudden it's open season on the Chinese, thanks to Mushy baby and his irritable uncles in Beijing. Predictably, the Pak press are scrambling to redirect blame on India. I'll laugh if the jihadi wrath at China mushrooms into a new surge of rebellion Uighurstan/Xinjiang. I'm sure the Baloch won't spare the Chinese either, since the separatists want them out of Gwadar, and the Islamist MMA whom Mushy used to oppose the separatists are now seeing red over Lal Masjid. The Pak media will now have to work overtime to lay blame on India for what their Manchurian Candidate Musharraf has done.

Is it not curious that all the Chinese escaped unhurt? It is a phenomenon similar to what happens when there are "assassination" attempts on Musharraf or on Kashmir politicians, especially PDF: bombs expolode, but the allegedly intended victims are never hurt; rockets are launched, but miss their alleged targets by hundreds of meters; bridges are blown up, but a few minutes after the allegedly intended victim has passed over it. Is it not mysterious?

We'll know for sure in the weeks and months ahead, since there are upto 5000 Chinese in Pakistan. They had better make themselves scarce, or risk becoming caught in the crossfire of the escalating conflict between the jihadis and Islamabad.

Actually it makes sense that the RAW would target the Chinese in Pakistan.

Why can't you guys at least admit the possibility that the Congress led government is finally showing some backbone?

Very intresting post @@San..

Somehow everybody who supports Pakistan end up getting burnt in the process..After looking at China, would Indian communists realise the perils of supporting hard line Islamic forces... If the master can get hurt so can the minions in our country right???

@TallIndian..

IMHO Its way to early to start appreciating Congress govt for anything happening in Pakistan..

India by its actions and words has long lost much of its leverage in that country. We have reduced ourselves to being bystanders to events unfolding in our next door neighbor.

It seems like Pakistan is well on its way down. Hope u guys also heard about the news of mutiny in Pakistan Army?

what mutiny? can't seem to find anything on the web. any info you post would be appreciated.

I disagree on the Indian role in Pakistan. Indian politicians of all stripes seem to have encouraged Pakistan to increase their dependence on China -- a dependence which can only lead to the dismemberment of Pakistan.

India now is in a pretty good position to pick up the detritus from a disintegrating Pakistan.

thanks harish.

I think India should exploit this rift (ideally they should secretly support all sides).

Create an independent Baluchistan. Annex Sind, Punjab and POK.

That would go a long way to make up for Nehru's loss of Tibet.

No, I dont think that India has anything to do with the recent islamic violence and killings of chinese in puke-istan.
Its purely the repercussions of the Lal masjid event.

No, I think we are better off without them. Lets be real and practical.. is it even possible. And if it is, is it in our interests ?

I wud agree with Darkstorm..We should let Pakistan stew in its juices..Breaking up of Pakistan through any foreign intervention is not in our best interests at this pointand serves no purpose.

We have quite a handful of issues to worry in our own sweet land..

But Pakistan seems to well on its way to fulfilling the US Intelligence's estimate of breaking up before 2015 (or was it 2025).

Any one who says that breaking up of Pakistan would help India should look at Bangladesh.

I mean we practically saved their asses and gifted freedom and now they are agents of ISI and are sending Jihadis to India. Bloody back stabbing, ungrateful bastards.

After all it seems true that Muslims will put Ummah before anybody else, even a good neighbor.

and can some body please explain how we can co-exist with Muslims?

This is where I beg to differ. We definitely don't need the scum of humanity that populates that land. BUT we could do with the land.

This would be just like what pakis and their indian bros in Kashmir have been doing to Indians.

When can we expect to pay them in the same coin ?
