The Central Intelligence Agency recently declassified its decades-old documents, referred to as the "family jewels," which included the CIA's own assessment of the reasons behind India's debacle in the 1962 Sino-Indian war. Great article by Harsh Pant. Explains why the US badly wants the nuke deal with India--To curtail Indian capabilities & prevent a potential challenger in the future.
As Indian media and the public are bussy uncorking the chmapagne over the nuclear deal, Haneef's home coming and the worthless India's cricketing tour of England..
4 million.. yes 4 million of our country men in the forgotten North East of India are marooned after some of the worstttttttt floods..

We can blame evrything frm global warming or El Nino for this..but we atleast owe our prayer and attention to a part of India that is literally under water..
