as usual, the inscrutable ones are doing their thing. their latest is 'river bombs'.
of course, they are planning to divert the brahmaputra as well, which will convert uttar pradesh and bihar into a desert. once again, thank you, j nehru, vk krishna menon, et al, for giving away tibet to china.
maybe mulayam singh yadav, laloo prasad yadav, and other politicians from those states can migrate to the desert middle east? after all, what's the difference between one desert and another.
why isn't china's national newspaper saluting china's novel use of rivers as a weapon?

The harnessing of Tibetan rivers influences drought/flood conditions in our border States
THE NEWS from across the Tibetan border about the Chinese building a barrage on the Sutlej river portends strategic concerns to the country's border areas. According to media reports, the Chinese have been constructing, for the past few years, a diversion structure across the Zada Gorge in the river (locally known as Lang Chen Khambab) located in the western part of Tibet and satellite imageries indicate the work as complete.

Look, this smells very fishy, possibly a case of Church's attempt to malign a high ranking Hindu priest of a revered temple in Kerala. Police arrested 3 people including woman Shobha John for forcing this priest to picture himself with a naked woman. Seems like child-rapists Catholic priests are getting creative in their attacks.

What we would need is another reservoir in Himachal. Agreed it is spending for us. But anyway, we need reservoirs and powerplants. So lets do it, it will serve two purposes. Flood control and power generation.
Logically, we cannot stop Chinese from doing what they are doing on their own land. (Screw Nehru, why the hell , Indus water treaty with Pakkis). But then we can do what we want on our own lands. Build more reservoirs. The thing to note is that the Chinese cannot stop the water flow totally (in fact nobody can fight nature), they themselves will be flooded by the waters from the melting snow if they do that.
Hats off to Arundhati Ghose for calling a spade a spade. Here she rubbishes all the people-to-people contact between Punjabi Terroristanis and Indian Punjabis. Also she is on the money, on China.

Hi all, I just had an acrimonious discussion with a friend... He is a proper damned secular progressive types. An apologist for Islamic terrorism. Now I just saw him chatting with some stranger from India. The stranger asked him where are you from. He replied - I am a brahmin.. what about you.
