I just saw a mention of Water Hyacinth in your article on Rediff regarding upcoming(since I buy your story) water problems in Kerala.

Water Hyacinth as per the latest Wired issue is a plant that eats Arsenic and is used by industries to control pollution. However I do not believe it's introduction into Kerala had any such motives.

In case you are interested, here is a good starting point, to understand how to combat Water Hyacinth naturally:

I was just browsing thru Video.Google.Com and even a simple search on 'jihad' came back with various hit results

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth a lakh. So I'd say that Indians need to get their video evidence portfolios uploaded into these emerging distribution networks like Video.Google.Com in order to make sure our viewpoints are adequately represented and available.

To see what I mean, just do a search on 'kashmir' and see what you get.

These newly emerging media distribution networks offer opportunities for us to gain an edge over the other side.

Like I said before -- get out those camera-phones, people! ;)
