Quick notes: Koh-i-noor, Costly comment...

  • Queen may face legal challenge: A lobby group headed by businessman David de Souza is mounting a legal challenge against Queen Elizabeth II demanding the return of the world famous Koh-i-noor diamond to India. The last Sikh ruler, Duleep Singh, a 13-year-old boy, was made to travel to Britain in 1850 when he handed the gem to Queen Victoria.

  • Bhagwat words untimely: "Sangh’s chief said that review reservation. People believe that the BJP will follow whatever is the diktat of Sangh."

  • Advice for Modi:

  • Animals as food: The shoe’s on the other foot now - those who want to kill animals and eat them ought to justify their view. It shouldn’t be the other way round.”

I don't know why Bhagwat doesn't know how to control his mouth. The SarSanghChalak may see himself as the smartest guy in his village, but village-level smarts just aren't upto the requirements of national politics.
