From the pot-calling-kettle-black-dept: arch-secular Pankaj Mishra accusing others of: ‘the instinct to bow down before the conqueror of the moment, to accept the existing trend as irreversible’.

And he quotes George Orwell, no less.

Hypocrisy, alas, is not visible to the true believer.

This man, I fear, is the epitome of the totally addled Indian 'sepoy' or Gunga Din fighting bearing the white man's (or China's, or Saudi Arabia's, or the Vatican's) burden. For a small fee. And he may actually believe the bullshit he peddles.

And he is married to the cousin of Cameroon. I think his articles should start with 'This Cus of Camerron ..."

He is truly despicable, does a hatchet job on Swami Vivekananda, calls Hinduism a British invention in collaboration with 'Brahmins'.

The WASP establishment should realize that the days of 'aam Hindu' being in awe of Gunga Dins are over.
