Home Minister P Chidambaram wants cabinet panel meet on UID

This was expected.

The curly haired Nandan may be a darling for the media because of his straight talk and criticizing the same Government that employs him, but the real utility of Aadhar project is still not clear.

Very appropriately, our "honorable" home minister has opened a turf war with the UID project; in any case their is no need for a massive duplication of the project.

It's much vaunted advantages remain on paper; they should first show the real benefit of targeting the subsidies to "poor and downtrodden" first.
