Last month, Premji was among a group of eminent personalities who had in an open letter to national leaders expressed concern over the governance deficit. Widespread discretionary decision-making have been routinely subjected to extraneous influences. The strong nexus between certain corporates, politicians, bureaucrats and power brokers is one of the greatest threats for the Indian economy.
