Frankly, I feel it's appropriate to ban this ugly gender-swapped version of the Man-in-the-Iron-Mask. More than a mere symbol, it's an ugly, active tool of gender apartheid. The veil is advocated and worn by those who see everything in the world as sexual. It is more than just blinding of and by the wearer -- it is exhibitionist blindness.
Note the obligatory sneering remarks about Hindus:
“If I dressed in a Western way I could be a Hindu, I could be anything,” she said.

we know what it has done to muslim women who incidently do not evoke any sympathy from me due to their continuing role as breeding machines of global jehad since day 1.
the real intersting thing is to see Brits shivering in their pants when they see an ever increasing number of veils and beards crossing their path. However, I think it will take considerably more 'action' on part of 'peace' community before the sneering oldies of UK stops bullshiting about Caste Systems and Aryan Invasion Theory and starts worrying about the fire that 'peace' community has lit under their bums.
Incidently, it would be fun to see both the uncivilized Brits and barbarians from desert trying to stew eash other in their own juices.
Liberals will lose in the end, because they are not producing enough babies. It is al demographics all said and done.
Liberals Europeans versus Hindus .. who will come out in better shape. The jury is still out on this.

Not only is the veil an ugly and living form of apartheid, it is a strong perpetuator of misogynism and male chauvinism.
It screams to the world, "being attractive is my fault" and protecting my honour is my job. After all, a man can do whatever he wants. So i have to make myself uncomfortable to prevent myself from being assaulted.
And uncomfortable it is: while the loose airy white male dishdash is appropriate for the hot dry weather, the black "tent" is not only inappropriate but supremely uncomfortable.
The oppression is total, indeed.
