trade talks and food security

jun 12th, 2007

creating the OFEC (org of food exporting countries) is the answer in
the long run. the rich nations will never cut down on their massive
food subsidies that create, for instance, the wine lake and the butter
mountain in europe. so india has to retaliate by becoming the food
king of the world, which we actually can do. then we have them where
we want them: supplicants.

unfortunately, a little pressure from the americans may cause indian
resolve to melt.

Sri Lanka accuses 'bullying' West

"We don't depend on them. They think that they we get aid. No, they are not giving anything."
The defence secretary also condemned what he called "double standards".

"All the militaries do covert operations," he said. "When the US does operations they say covert operations. When something is in Sri Lanka they call abductions. This is playing with the words.

on the similar lines, Henry CK Liu has been imploring Chinese government to create a gang of labour exporting countries. fortunately or unfortunately, Chinese government is too much intereted in selling its labour cheap because they need hell lot of money to make up for the lost time thanks to Mao and his ideas about economy.
Strangely, in india, either no one come up with decent solution idea or these people are blacked out for being too unconvinient.
