Again, this is why Euros are suddenly becoming a little more pro-Indian and a little less pro-China. It's finally dawned on their predatory little minds that under globalization, China can become a threat to them too, even in spite of geo-political and balance of power craftsmanship. Under globalization, everybody is your neighbor, even that guy on the other side of the planet that you'd never have given 2 hoots about before.
my theory is that communists don't know anything about money or economy. They are so implractical in everything they do. When they do community farming, people need to be sent to Gulags to quell opposition, and productivity drops to a lvel when people under their yoke turn to cannibalism. When they do industry, they turn the economic commonsense upside down (not ultimately to thir own advantage), creating massive environmental degradation, resource plunder and predatory/exploitative labour situation.
Situations in China is not very different from what happened in Romania with only a few major significant differences. e.g. Unlike Romani, China is an utterly imperialist nation, has got nukes, has been having many nations by their balls thanks to exporting low priced (produced many times by jailbirds) things to them. Unlike, Romanis, China does not have any true friend either. Maybe that will save the world, in case screwes need to be tightened around it.
