India - legal notice on British auction house

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/India_may_serve_legal_notice_on_British_auction_house/articleshow/2161630.cms
This is a welcome development; the more you threaten the meeker they get.
India has for too long been the victim of sundry 'collectors' who buy stolen antiquities from various such 'auction houses' - the said 'auction houses' being nothing but a marketing front for thieves and smugglers. The Vaman Ghia operation comes to mind, and many others!

problem is the morons in power are wasting taxpayer’s dollars, err rupees, on trying to retrieve a fiction written by a lunatic while meekly giving away our nuclear deterrence to the yanks.

So I don’t think this futile exercise in trying to get back a worthless piece of fiction is a “welcome development”. On the contrary this will only increase the sound bites of the Gandhi, doesn’t matter which one, sycophants.

While I may disagree on many things with the Mahatma - I don't see how some white private 'collector' profiting from his writings makes much sense.
In fact, given the general disregard that Indians seem to have for institutions and memorials - the best way to consign something to the dustbin of history in India - is to actually build a memorial for it!
- As for the content of the letter - if you read it carefully - it actually asks the Muslims of India to learn the Devanagri script. How can that be bad? Of course - the Mahatma lived in a fool's paradise in thinking that the Mohammedan's of India will actually learn Devanagri. But surely, we can now use this to shame them; or at least their intellectual Leftist masters. No?

I read the letter and in totality it is absurd and it only shows Gandhi’s arrogance. How come just a simple exercise of protest by boycotting an Urdu daily amounts to copying Pakistan where millions of Hindus where slaughtered and converted to Islam. Isn’t that a sign of dictator who says - do as I say or I will judge you? Remember the tragedy Hindus have to go thru because of partition and they can’t even reject an Urdu newspaper?

That’s why I said this letter is a worthless piece of fiction and any effort to acquire it by the current Indian non-government is a waste which otherwise can be used elsewhere on a more useful manner – say finding a way to keep India’s nuclear deterrence and ICBM projects alive and kicking, no?

As an aside, here's more Utopian dhimmi nonsense from Sudheendra Kulkarni

"A CMP for BJP Muslim dialogue"

http://www.indianexpress.com/story/160298.html

This leaves me completely stunned to react. No words will suffice to describe this
fantastic nonsense. This is this the kind of devious gandhian pacifist capitulation
that provoked Shri. Nathuram Godse.

Why should the onus for accomodation always be on the BJP ?
Why cannot Muslims accept India as their motherland and it's ancient heritage as their own ?
Why cannot Muslims acknowledge the patrimony of their own Hindu ancestors ?

Why cannot Muslims refrain from violent rioting ?
Do Hindus have no right to even defend themselves when their life & honour is threatened ?

How about Muslims guaranteeing the safety and security of their Hindu brethren in
Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kashmir, Asssam, West Bengal, Kerala, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi,
Meerut, Varanasi, Agra, Aligarh, Gorakhpur, Malegaon, Moradabad, Bhopal, Sahranpur, Lucknow,
Godhra, Ahmedabad, Rampur, Sitapur, Bhagalpur, Kanpur, Aurangabad, Gonda, Kota, Coimbatore,
Gulbarga ..................... etc ?

How about Muslims first showing some respect for India & Hinduism ? For secularism, for communism ? For Sikhism, for Christianisty, for Zorastrianism ?

Why do the Muslims need the BJP when they already have the Congress, the assorted socialists, communists & regional parties genuflecting before them ?

And, the BJP led NDA government also genflected before them by :
- increasing Haj subsidy
- granting permission for Friday namaz at the "Taj Mahal"
- releasing Masood Azhar, Sheikh Omar during the kandahar hijacking
- declaring a Ramzan ceasefire against terrorists in Kashmir
- proividing NSG commando security to the Hurriyat conference,
Mufti Sayeed etc
- allocating tax revenues to madarsa, dargah grants
- facilitating Mohs. Yakub Quereshi's slaughter houses in U.P
- turning a blind eye to demographic warfare by Bangladeshi mohammedans.

Charity begins at home. If it has any survival instincts at all, the BJP should not forget the lessons of 2004 by ignoring/alienating it's core constituency any further.

How about the BJP apologise to the nation :

- for not doing anything to alleviate the suffering of the Kashmiri pandit victims of islamic terror
languishing in tent cities in jammu. (Couldn't they implement reservations/scholarships/grants in BJP ruled states or at the centre ?)

- for not deporting > 30 million Bangladeshi mohammedans in India illegally ?

- for not amending the Constitution of India to give the Hindu majority the unfettered right to
establish their own institutions of education & healthcare ? (Who would object to this ? Even
Syed Shahabuddin supported it )

- for not protecting the lives & freedom of the Hindu minority in the Christian north east (they're
being subjected to forced conversion under duress)

- for negotiating with the christian terrorist NSCN ?

- for failing to deal with christian evangelism all over india by force/fraud/allurement ?

- for failing to crush maoist "naxalite" terrorists ?

- for declaring a unilateral moratorium on nuclear weapon testing when the test data from pokhran 2
had not even been analysed & the thermonuclear device was a dud ?

- for being passive to the encroachment of india's strategic space in nepal, sri lanka etc ?

- for issuing a visa to pope john paul who issued a call for harvesting of souls on Diwali eve on indian soil ? (and other evangelicals who visited india during the NDA's watch )

- for refusing permission to the armed forces to cross the LOC during the Kargil war
& prematurely declaring "Vijay" when indian territory was still under enemy occupation ?

- for demoralising the armed forces during Operation Parakram by keeping them in an advanced
state of alert for 11 months without seeing any action ?

- for being inactive on core issues like Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura, Uniform Civil code, Article 370,
Cow slaughter etc ?

- for Advani's shameful betrayal & capitulation on his Pakistan yatra ?

- for disowning, withdrawing, then apologising for the "communal" CD in the recent U.P assembly elections ?

- for hobnobbing with enemies of Hindu nationalism like Karunanidhi, Ramadoss, Vaiko, Ram vilas Paswan, I.K Gujral, C.B Naidu, Deve Gowda ?

- for fragmenting the Hindu nationalists by marginalising mass leaders like Uma Bharti,
Shankarsinh Vaghela, Govindacharya, Babulal Marandi, Madanlal Khurana, A. Narendra,
Kalyan Singh ?

- for elevating jokers like Navjot Sidhu over committed party workers ?

- for admitting dhimmis & communists like Sudheendra Kulkarani into a Hindu nationalist organisation like the BJP , thus depriving the Hindus of a pan-India political platform when they are in the greatest danger & need it the most ?

The BJP has done enough "reaching out to Muslims". Nothing else is going to satiate their lust for domination & conquest.

The BJP needs to do a ritual purification, possibly like the one performed in a Pitrutarpanam to
atone for ever being associated with this dhimmi and his perverted ideology.

Otherwise, they should simply dissolve the party and merge with the Congress.

No need to buy Gandhi article

Second opinion: KR Phanda

There are reports in the newspapers that the Government, through its High Commission in London, has communicated its interest to Christie's that it would participate in the bidding process for acquisition of an article written by Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi just 19 days before his assassination in 1948. The article urges Hindus not to oppress the Muslims of India.

The acquisition of the letter would be a waste of taxpayers' money. It is well known that most of the problems that India faces today are the legacy of Gandhi, who had spent half his life pandering to Muslim demands. Every satyagraha that he launched had resulted in the death of innocent Hindus. It is they who paid the price for his follies.

Insofar as Muslims are concerned, they always treated Gandhi as a kafir. In this context, this is what Prof M Mujeeb, Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, has written in his book The Indian Muslims: "They objected to any form of cultural and social assimilation, and even till the first decades of the 20th century, the more strict among them would wash their hands if they had by chance greeted a Hindu with a handshake. Maulvi Abdul Bari of Farangi Mahal had objected to Gandhi wearing a dhoti that did not cover his knees."

In another instance, Maulana Mohammed Ali had made the following statement about Gandhi in 1924: "However pure Mr Gandhi's character may be, he must appear to me from the point of view of religion inferior to any Mussalman, even though he be without character." Some time later, in Lucknow, he had reiterated similar sentiments in more eloquent terms: "Yes, according to my religion and creed, I do hold an adulterous and fallen Mussalman to be better than Mr Gandhi."

Indian Muslims were never convinced of Gandhi's sincerity. They extracted their pound of flesh as and when the British rulers embarked on the process of constitutional reforms. Gandhi's last attempt to appease the Muslims was when he suggested to Lord Mountbatten that Mohammed Ali Jinnah be made the Prime Minister of undivided India and he should have the freedom to select his own Cabinet.

I remember that our relatives had to live in a refugee camp in Purana Quila as Gandhi would not allow Hindu refugees to occupy houses of Muslims in Delhi who had left for Pakistan. Why should we waste our money for his manuscript?

You called Gandhi as Mahatma. Come on buddy get real. He is no Mahatma, period.

He is just another politician who is very good at spinning things and getting maximum ink space. Sort of like Bill Clinton. In that respect I think Bill is too good than “Mahatma” because I don’t think “Mahatma” would have gotten away with “I did not have sexual relationship with that women” baloney.

What do you think?

There can be no two opinions on that. But, currently the RSS seem to be the only genuine practitioners of gandhianism in India. Why would they want to praise Mohandas Gandhi ?

Gandhi caused immense & eternal damage to the Hindu nation (above all, his appeasement of mullahs in the face of genocide of Hindus during the Moplah rebellion,
Partition etc) - and in my personal opinion, Nathuram Godse's action came atleast 30 years too late.

Yet, Gandhi did make some positive contributions to Hindu society - particularly his work for emanicipation of Harijans was motivated by Hindu thought. Remember that Gandhi was strongly opposed to proselytization by Christian missionaries. He
had declared that there was nothing new that Christian theology could offer to Hindus, as compassion, charity etc are the essence of our Vedas, Bhagvad
Gita and other scriptures.

Perhaps, that is the context in which Ekal Vidyalaya & the RSS praise Gandhi. After all, they are his legatees in the field of social work. Mohandas is perceived, rightly or wrongly as a Mahatma by our masses (in my
opinion, wrongly).

Therefore, at a time when the Mullah, Missionary, Marxist, Macaulayite,Dravidian, Secularist
crowd uses the name of Gandhi and Mother Teresa (a violent fanatic and fraud, but more about that later) and expects to silence Hindu nationalists by
their very mention - can praising Mohandas be avoided ? They mention these names and claim the moral high ground, taking away our weapons instantly in
the argumentative sense, i.e they seek a monopoly on saintliness.
We cannot & should not cede the moral high ground to them.

Suppose Sonia Gandhi declares tomorrow that she supports the Hindu cause, Ram Janmabhoomi, Kashmir, Cow slaughter, Conversions, Bangladeshis,
Naxalites etc ...... all included.
Why, yes - I would certainly praise her for that - as long as it suits the Hindu cause.

Until our own people are educated (not just literate) enough to recognise fraud and understand the perversion of Indian secularism, we have no option but to selectively praise the good actions of Gandhi etc.

However, everyone should be open minded enough to analyze Gandhi's positives & negatives as a human being. BTW, anyone notice how the mainstream media totally negated
Gandhi's affairs with that bengali lawyer lady, which was first exposed in Rajmohan Gandhi's recently released book ?
Apparently, Gandhi was willing to leave his own family to be with this lady & C. Rajgopalachari prevailed upon him not to do so.
This should have been a momentous news event not only in India, but indeed at the world level.

But, it would be very inconvenient for the likes of Nirmala Deshpande, Kuldip Nayyar & Khushwant singh to face these facts that gandhi was also a human being susceptible to human frailties - because they would like to appropriate gandhi as a stick to beat Hindus with.
He need not be demonized, but then, he should not be idolised either. And, these are the folks who ridicule Hindus for idol worship ? Who is worshipping idols now ?
