this is turning out to be a potent weapon for white guys to hit at
china. as someone mentioned earlier, china is not turning the other
cheek, but is shouting loudly from the rooftops about white guys'
problems with food. this has the salutary effect of shutting the white
guys up. the chinese learned this art of brazen counter-attack with
the human-rights commotions the americans dream up now and then.
there's another reason: the chinese genuinely despise the white man as
an inferior barbarian, although they would like to be like him. so
they have no problems about ranting and raving about the white guy.
this is like some of us despise some people so much, and consider them
such low-lifes, that we have no trouble ranting and raving at them at
the drop of a hat. it turns to be quite an effective tactic too.
