Walker on the Brahmaputra dam

http://wpherald.com/articles/4779/1/Walkers-World-Danger-on-the-roof-of-the-world/Proposed-Chinese-dam-worries-India-threatens-Tibet.html
More on the proposed Han project of constructing a dam on the Brahmaputra and convert Bangladesh and Eastern India to a desert. Make no mistake - without the water and the soil replenishment - another series of famines beckons in Sonar Bangla
This is inevitable - irrespective of what the Secular Spin Doctors say - did Sanjay Baru not say that we should put this 'rumor' to rest? China needs to feed 20% of the world's population with 7% of the world's arable land - a lot of which is now poisoned thanks to the 'great leap forward'

This is also just the start - watch as the Hans block all other rivers flowing into India as well. We may choke their oil in the Starits of Malacca - in return they will choke our water.

Thank you Panditji for being asleep at the wheel when Tibet was swallowed!

Why not give more media coverage to the Tibetan problem? Host a Falun Gong conference in India or London under Indian auspices? More recognition of Taiwanese trade delegation with inking of deals.......is it too much to ask for vis-a-vis our 'greatest' neighbour?

Frankly, China is not a country u can negotiate with now. I am not saying that their shuld be war or anything of that sort but the fact of the matter is that China’s attitude towards India has always been hostile & contemptuous right since the commies took over that country in 49. The Chinese don’t mind negotiating as long as the Indians do all the giving. Unfortunately India has got itself into a corner.
India is China’s only major competitor in Asia not just in terms of size but more importantly culturally. (and potentially economically). What we are seeing is a real “clash of civilizations”-- the Chinese are fully aware that Indian / Hindu culture is the bedrock of most of SE Asia and to a smaller extent of the far Eastern Asian nations itself including China. [For instance Chinese Turkistan or Xingjian & Tibet, which form the majority land mass of modern Chinese are both ancient outposts of Indian culture] Hence the obsession to downplay / downgrade India. Curiously enough this has never been the attitude of Indian intellectuals / historians, who have always been only too happy to acknowledge China as a great civilization. Time only will tell how this conflict resolves itself. At the moment things don’t look too bright for India -- and if Karat and the rest of the commie gang have their way -- might take a turn for the worse.

What greatness have we achieved post panditji? Is the current wimpish govt being led by panditji?

There is limit how much we can whiplash a guy dead 45 yrs back. What about the present 1.2 billion population, who have chosen or are indifferent to the current traitors in power?
