i have no comment on this matter because i have never used orkut. but
i believe a number of orkut communities had been banned in india based
on the shiv sena's concerns.

All the pro-Hindu communities on Orkut such as RSS,VHP and Haindava
Keralam have been deleted by Orkut without giving any reasons.
The RSS community had over twenty-thousand members.
None of these communities had violated any of the Orkut service terms.
However,there are hundreds of porn and Islamic hate communities that
continue to exist on Orkut.
All this points to an Islamic mole inside Google.
Efforts are being made to get the communities re-instated.
I request you to give this issue publicity on your widely-read blog.

Don't know about google, but rediff seems to be abused by the 'report abuse' syndrome. No sooner is a message slightlyanti muslim, it is reported as abuse. Even if it is backed with facts right there and then. Whereas, glaringly obvious / unrelated hate messages by Muslims are allowed to stay. Perhaps no Hindus bother to report them for abuse. I have no hassles with them venting their spleen, but then why supress comment against, even when valid?
any anti islam clips are deleted from youtube (Google owned). This is happening for the last few months. However anti jew clips do not meet the same fate.
I believe their modus operandi is simple. Mass flag a particular clip as a hate speech. I am sure no one at Google looks it up. Some automated program written in Python will simply count the number of flags to the offending clip and after a certain threshold will delete it automatically.
Same must be happening at Orkut also.
I heard rumors that the Google chap who heads the google news operation in Bangalore is one of those AID/ASHA types. - sorry no proof

regarding #11 and #12, how are the people going to argue with a straight face that these are NOT hate communities ?
The first law of media management is to understand the Orwellian nomenclature of everything political. e.g. Fascists and Nazis were socialists, Islam is religion of peace, and North Korea is democratic peoples' republic of korea, and the funding arms of Jehadis and Christists call themselves CHARITIES
How about chosing names like Honest Reporting(I think I might be infringinhh on some trademark here :-)).
