The BJP govt in Rajasthan has embarked on the vital road to labour reform, by approving changes in laws to make the process of hiring and firing more flexible:

Not only should labour policies be left to the states, but even other sensitive issues like diesel prices should be shifted to the states too, in order to take pressure of the central govt and to allow inter-state competition to unravel the logjam even more quickly.
