Hindus accused of bombing - LOL time

The latest spate of bombings took place in Malegaon in Maharashtra and Sabarkantha district in Gujarat.  Both the bombs were set off in some Muslim locality or some Id party.

The suspects this time are Hindus ( http://www.dnaindia.com/report.asp?newsid=1194631 ).  Why ? Well, because it simply doesnt seem to be a SIMI job ?!!  Amazing piece of logic by the Indian police and the lame government (which hastily concluded that the previous blasts case has been solved,  and avoided having to fire the fashion minister..oops.. home minister Shivraj Patil who likes to try on different dresses these days).  The investigations are at loggerheads and cluelessness reigns.  Or someone politically connected is shielding the jehadis.  Simply forgotten is that during the last time Malegaon was bombed, Hindus were suspected but it turned out to be work of muslims.  Putting the blame on Hindus also gives the jehadi apologists some breathing space (why even bother, as long as Manmohan and Sonia are around).

Do expect our fair, just and secular government to soon arrest some unknown guy off a farm (doesn't matter if its really a work of some Hindu or not).  He might just happen to carry ammonium nitrate fertilizer (without the wires and timer chips? that does not matter).  Yeah yeah, I do know the standard p-sec and media rants regarding muslims under the scanner, so why not Hindus?  The fact that in this depressingly pseudo-secular environment, it really needs some hard pointers and facts to even suspect muslims, is not taken into consideration.  Surely the reasons are there.  (Why, the jehadis themselves inform us by email ! ).  Another fact that the media and p-sec babblers wont consider is the historical precedent.  And the avowed destruction of Hindus that the jehadis keep repeating often.  Also, the fact that they have actually been trying to do that since the last more than a thousand years.

Meanwhile, Manmohan Singh says that he is not an astrologer - http://www.dnaindia.com/report.asp?newsid=1194673

Aside - While people die of bomb blasts and Islamic terrorist activities - against their will - ; the ordinary citizens will have one more control placed upon them - Ban on smoking.  More people probably die of road accidents due to potholes and narrow roads than smoking - against their will.  A person who is smoking is doing so at his own will.  I wonder if the stupid Congressis have any understanding of what will is.  Another opportunity for the lame duck government to earn extra money to waste on minority and "aam aadmi" schemes (instead of building better roads which would benefit everyone regardless of religion).  Another opportunity for the police to earn some extra bribe.  I do respect the rights of the non-smokers to have a smoke free environment.  A blanket ban on smoking, even in buildings with designated smoking zones, is idiotic.  Of course, spitting gutkha and paan inside buildings and buses will continue to be legal.  I do have a right to a disease-free, spit-free environment, don't I ?  Okay, this topic has both good and bad parts, so I leave it here.

Extract from Shahi Imam ''absolves'' LeT, blames RSS for Mumbai blasts
New Delhi | July 18, 2006 12:44:10 AM IST

He [the Shahi Imam Bukhari of Delhi's grand old Jama Masjid] hit out at the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, saying these "so-called secular parties" were to blame for all the ills afflicting Muslims today.

"When Muslims get targeted under these so called secular parties, it is time we teach them a lesson. It is time Shias, Sunnis, Ansaris, Saifis, Barelvis, Qureshis and all else stand up as one -- as Muslims -- and snatch back our collective rights and dignity," the Imam said, asking the community to stand up to the political challenge.

"We were rulers here for 800 years. Inshaallah, we shall return to power here once again", he said to loud approval by the nearly 200 assembled men.
