taxpayer funding haj boondoggle to vatican for manufacturing yet another 'saint'

oct 9th, 2008

naturally. have to support this nonsensical marketing myth-making. see my old column on 'the saint business'. i am always reminded of the 'blessed' kochappi. http://www.rediff.com/news/2003/oct/17rajeev.htm

interestingly, exactly 5 years after the m teresa circus, here comes the sister alphonso circus. for those who don't know, this is a keralachristist. apparently the reward for all the 'good work' keralachristists are doing in being the storm-troopers of christism in india.

yes, funding for mohammedan haj and christist haj, but when it comes to funding the amarnath yatra, the govt suddenly turns p-secular.

Isn't knowledge supposed to be another form of the God. " Vidya Devo Bhava" . Sorry not too good in Sanskrit.
Then wouldn't it be a great idea to lend out interest-free loans or scholarships to prospective students who want to study abroad instead of spending 100's of crores of the tax-payers money in sponsoring trips for people who want to lash themselves in front of a stone.
Grow up "SECULAR". There is enough money in the region around wherever the "TRUE" muslims go, to sponsor all of them. For all you know they might get a first class on Qatar Airways.

10,000 to participate in Sister Alphonsa's canonisation
rediff news, October 10, 2008 15:48 IST

“Nearly 10,000 people, mostly Keralite Christians, are expected to participate in the canonisation of Sister Alphonsa in Vatican on October 12.
The official delegation is being led by Union Minister Oscar Fernandes and the Kerala Government would be represented by Public Works Minister Mons Joseph.

“The delegation from Kerala, which left yesterday, include Kerala Congress leaders K M Mani Member of Legislative Assembly, P C Thomas, Member of Parliament, P C George, MLA, and Congress leader K V Thomas.

Compare with this: In June this year, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh issued a directive to his ministerial colleagues for austerity to help cut down the mounting pressure on government finances caused by burgeoning energy import bill in the wake of rising international crude prices.: Manmohan effect: Ministers cancel foreign tours Expressindia; Sat, 11 Oct 2008

I think it is time Hindus should stop paying taxes and jizya following the non-cooperation nationalist movement by Jammu citizens in order to protest the misuse of the money.

The only spicy news is that some hardcore female dacoit has joined Samajwadi party;!!

Heartening because no image projection as 'desh ke liye vokarenge yehkarenge'.

It is almost like the thoroughly enjoyable & unforgettable Hindi movie ' Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron'.

The Beatified Kochappi story is hilariously enlightening!

Has anyone made it into a movie?
