the sainted alphonsa: christist carrots for co-option

oct 12th, 2008

now how about sainting sister abhaya, eh, godman ratzy? or is it verboten because some of your flunkey godmen raped and murdered her and have been striving manfully for years to derail the investigation into the murder?

why isn't godman ratzy being arrested for the suspected murder of sister abhaya? he should be, and then the p-secs can intone gravely, "the law must take its course".

A Pole was elected Pope, he worked closely with Lech walesa and the Soviet Union was gone.

South Korea is rapidly christianising and we get a south korean as UN Sec-Gen.

Leaving her own war-torn country behind and not caring for her own troubled people, teresa comes to India for charity and gets to become saint.

Kerala is exporting the largest numbers of christian priests, nuns and nurses around the world and so Kerala gets a Christian saint and India gets its second.

This bodes ill for what these white christians intend for India. And dont forget the Magsaysays and Nobels that are given as smaller carrots.

It is not enough to earn sainthood with hard work in religious conversion of heathens but you must also prove you are capable of a miracle after you are dead. This lady from kerala is supposed to have cured someone with clubfoot. Someone should go to her with bad teeth. Dentists cost the earth and all dentists are torture chambers. I would gladly give a kerala woman her sainthood if she can do miracles with someone's teeth and gums.

Any takers? R

I wonder how many Bharatvaasi she converted to be applicable to become a saint. It makes me sick to see how all the newspapers and the likes of Christian News Networks (CNN) channels are celebrating it as Bharat's pride.

Dentists & miracles make me share the following with you.

Proving what Lord Krishna says that over actions alone we have choice , not over consequences. In other words the ethics behind organs harvesting & facts eclipsed.

A relative of mine (now dead) was one of the famous eye surgeons in a well known eye hospital in TNadu.

Her ambitious parents & cousins belonging to the same medical fraternity proudly beamed how she was fast restoring sight to the sightless of the world , doing lots of charities , had pioneered restoration of eyesight with the help of human teeth etc etc.

True to their claims , she was quite a celeb , superrich, fawned over by grateful patients with expensive silks ,sweets & gifts, gallivanting around Spain , America , Singapore etc.

When in Chennai, got bitten by a musquito and died of chikungunya.

Went into coma for a week before dying.Could not set her eyes on her only son (who was sent to America for undergrad studies) who had come to Chennai to be by her side.

The vainglorious relatives did not want to admit she died of chikungunya.Hence invented polysyllabic worded ailments to feed those who came to condole.

India is a land of saints, male and female. Wonder why the media has gone berserk at the Rottweiler Ratzy's marketing gimmick?

The Roman Catholic Church in Kerala was in a stinking situation till a few weeks ago.

The Vimochana Samaram call went a damp squib. The avarice of the clergy in the matter of Professional colleges was resented most by the poor among the laity themselves. The Text book issue was laughed at more by the educated laity rather than other religions. The High Court kept bringing up the Sister Abhaya issue, finally proving that the Church had bribed even the CBI into doctoring evidence. It was on top of all these that Sr.Anupa Mary case came up and brought up of all things, the issue of lesbianism in nunneries. Driven to the wall at the 'divine' onslaught of all these scandals, the Church found a straw to clutch at in the Orissa and Karnataka violence. [But realising quickly that its spread into Kerala would make things even more desperate, they started a dialogue with Hindu organisations and saved things a bit.]

Now the Alphonsa beatification has given a breather to the Church. But the warmth would have been greater in the State had the clergy not made things very stinking immediately prior to it.

Yet, things are not likely to rest with this. Abhaya and Anupa hang like Damocles' swords above them. And nobody knows when the next nun would kill herself or be rape-killed by the clergy!

New extent of Dhimmitude!!
Rediff.com advises Hindus to convert to your 'spouse's faith' as 'True love conquers all?!!'. How is 'true love' only one sided?!!

Read this rubbish -

What further depths can Rediff fall into? And that too its in the 'LEISURE' section........what non-sense.....the ROL & ROP will be surely happy now/ not?!! I think they want all of pagan India to follow this 'advice'?!!!

This and other Saint Business transactions are based on absurd irrationalities. As a matter of fact, these are infractions of the command in the Constitution of India, Article 51A: “It shall be the duty of every citizen of India…to develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform…”
In this context, please read: “A clergyman in charge of education for the country’s leading scientific organisation – it’s a Monty Python sketch,” says Dr Richard Dawkins, Britain’s leading atheist. Dawkins’s remarks were directed against Professor Michael Reiss, Director of Education at the Royal Society. Reiss is an “evolution biologist” and “population geneticist”, but he is also a non-stipendiary priest in the Church of England. Quoting from the article in The Independent: “ When he said recently that science teachers should answer questions about creationism if pupils asked them he was deemed to have been advocating the idea that British schools should teach the idea that the world was magicked up (complete with fossils and ancient geology) just 6,000 years ago – and then tell pupils to make their own minds up between that and the theory of evolution to which the overwhelming scientific evidence points.”
Although Reiss made it clear that “he insists creationism is scientific nonsense”, some of “Royal Society’s most eminent members began a campaign to have him sacked.”
I wish the community of scientists and technologists in India would do something similar to try and get rid of people in important positions that believe the same myth — world having been “magicked up” just 6,000 years ago etc — and also other myths like the al Phonsa (spelt like this in analogy with “al Qaeda”) and Moth Teresa rubbish. We should particularly take a good look at “educational” institutions run by these weirdos.

Kerala Catholic Church seems to be star-crest by and for its sins. Days after my last Post, scandal has struck the Church again. Have a look at this: http://www.indianexpress.com/news/bishop-adopts-26yrold-woman-kerala-smells-scandal/373544
