Google Pushing Mobile Phone OS

Google is now pushing its own open source OS for mobile phones, called 'Android'. They seem to be trying to do another Firefox for mobile phones, to create a space for themselves there, in the wake of similar success by Apple and Microsoft. They may end up giving the iPhone a run for their money.
