Haj pilgrims attacked! Why no cry?

nov 14th, 2007

behold, religion of equality meets religion of peace. appropriately in kerala.

i cannot understand how the communists can be seen as anything other than fascists and genocidal maniacs after nandigram. but of course, manmohan "kissa-kursi-ka" singh has forgotten the new words he learned recently, 'genocide' and 'holocaust'. what a hypocrite!

i wonder what the neo-semitic religion of ambedkarism claims is its thing, given that 'love' and 'peace' have been taken already. maybe 'religion of absurdity'?

Haj pilgrims attacked! Why no cry from SECULARISTS?
11/13/2007 4:52:16 PM  HK

Thalassery: Convoy of Haj Piligrims were attacked and many including women were injured.

One may wonder why no much hue and cry over such an act which have even impact internationally! Why haven't it came in the headlines of National media! Why no condemnation by our Secularists and cultural leaders!

REASON- It's not been attributed luckily on Hindu Organisations-No RSS, VHP, Bajrangdal activists were arrested. The assailants here are CPI(M) comrades!

A Convoy of seven Jeeps started from Vilakottur-a village in Kannur was attacked near Kadavathur by the comrades. Glass panes of the Jeep were broken and few including woman were injured. Chokli police arranged special vehicle to the pilgrims who were heading to Karippur airport.

Police sources told that, the attack was the sequel of CPI(M)-Muslim League clashes in the area. UDF called for Harthal in the area tommorrow. http://www.haindavakeralam.org/PageModule.aspx?PageID=4856

600 Dalits and Muslims have been killed in Nandigram
Nov. 14, 2007

Over 600 Dalits and Muslims have been killed in Nandigram, most of them in the last week, claimed Dalit activist Dr Udit Raj, quoting a report from the West Bengal unit of the Indian Justice Party and the All India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations. Dr Raj is president of the IJP and chairman of the confederation.

In a press release, Dr Udit Raj claimed this was the reason why the media and social activists were kept out of the area.

Most residents of Nandigram are Muslims and Dalits, and that is the reason why this particular area was chosen to establish a Special Economic Zone, claimed Dr Udit Raj, also a member of the National Integration Council.

According to the release, the West Bengal unit of the All India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations staged a dharna to protest the brutalities committed against the locals in Nandigram.

The release further states that the Justice Sachhar Committee, set up to improve the life of Muslims,  revealed that under the Left Front government, the Muslim population in Bengal is continuously overlooked, resulting in low literacy rates and low levels of employment.

The release added that social activist like Medha Patekar, CPI-ML leader Dipankar Bhattacharya and others should view the Nandigram violence from the perspective of class and communal divisions . http://www.rediff.com/news/2007/nov/14nandi2.htm

So really, we can see that the Nandigram death toll is shaping up to be at least as bad as Gujarat Riots. Will we then see calls for Buddhadeb and his commies to be put on trial? Nope. Any calls for prosecution of crimes against humanity at the Hague? Nope. Will there be any revenge attacks like Akshardam and Bombay bombings? It doesn't seem like the victims have any power to strike back.

No, it's exclusively the mainstream majority in India who get vilified, framed and blamed, while the extremist fringe get off scot-free.

The real, ugly face of Indian communism now stands exposed for those "liberals" who romanticize
"revolution" and other such B.S.
The last time Nandigram flared up, the CPI(M) alleged a CIA hand. It is, of course second nature for the Indian communists to blame "Imperialists",
"Zionists"," Hindu communalists" for everything that goes wrong in India. The repression let loose by CPI(M) thugs is very real; yet a CIA hand in re-igniting Nandigram may not be so far fetched, because the CIA does have a history of using Muslim fundamentalists against Communism. Remember Afghanistan? Such a fantastic story sounds more credible in light of Henry Kissinger's recent activities and the quid pro quo of the CPI(M) and Kaangress on the nuke deal. The communist brutality in Bengal and the media/liberal silence in stark contrast to their treatment of the Gujarat riots affords great propaganda value to the right. But in my opinion, the big picture must not be lost sight of, i.e the right should not go overboard on Nandigram, least of all entertain an unreliable customer like that Mamta Banerjee. Why should the Kaangress and CPI(M) be provided an excuse to operationalise the emasculating nuke deal
by stealth because the CPI(M) goondas killed a few Mohammedans somewhere? It may be convoluted, but to me, if the Soviet Union is fighting the Afghan mujahideen - I would not do anything to help the mujahideen. Therefore, after having made it's point, for now - the BJP ought to focus its energies again on the issue of paramount importance to the nation, i.e defeating the charter of strategic servitude also known as the "nuclear deal".
